| scipio Senior Member 1901 Posts 2/00 | Posted - Jun 28 2003 : 1:08PM The testes are supposed to have a constant temperature, the exact level I forgot (and it'd be in celcius even if I could remember it) so the scrotum does it's best to keep them warm or cool them down by pulling them up into the warmth of the body or letting them swing in the breeze, whichever is more appropriate at the time. This is the whole reason they're outside the body rather than inside, as the ovaries are. Much of the whole health issues between boxers and briefs thing stems from this discussion too, though I find boxers too uncomfortable to wear. As Kramer once said "my boys need a house". oh, they're also outside the body to provide content for programs such as America's/Australia's Funniest Home Videos-type programs which seem to consist mostly of small children running headfirst into some poor bloke's crotch so we can laugh as he falls down in a screaming heap clutching his 'nads, and people falling onto fences with one leg on each side.. hmm actually sounds a lot like Jackass for that matter.. cheers, scipio [Link] |

Disregarding the apparent thickness of slippery skin, I came up with each testicle being approximately an inch and a half on the longest axis, and being somewhat flattened like a bean, on another axis they were each about an inch wide.
