My process is this: 1. I download scenes in SD WMV format to burn in my muvee 4.0 auto producer format. I have an ancient HP Pavillion laptop. 2. I burn rewritable discs to tranfer to my Sony burner that is about about kaput so I want to finalize the remaining discs ASAP. 3. Older scenes have the NSTC code and there is no problem in my process, but the newer ones don't, hence frustration. My question to you experienced veterans, Is Brazzers not coding the new stuff intentionally and is there anyway to code the new scenes in the NTSC format? I bought a Samsung external burner that came with the Nero 12 program thinking I needed new technology, but Nero is absolutely annoying and needed the NTSC anyway. The navigation on the Brazzers non member site is actually more useful than the membership site and I'm looking to get out at the end of the month, but I want to get their newer content because it looks a hell of a lot better than the old stuff. Read the system requirements, but I suspect your old machine may have the necessary power for what you are trying to do. Just download the WMV files directly to your computer, then use PowerDirector 10 (part of the CyberLink Media Suite 10 Pro package) to edit and convert to your heart's content. It can read and write virtually any format. FYI, aside from Nero 12 being a disaster, your old laptop probably does not have what it takes to even begin to run it :( [Link] |

WMV files do not need to be NTSC to play on your computer. Videobox has many WMV file downloads that were sourced from PAL originals. I know this because, when I open them with CyberLink PowerDirector 10 (part of the CyberLink Media Suite 10 Pro suite package), it tells me this and offers to transcode the files I'm converting/editing into NTSC. Please trust me on this. CyberLink PowerDirector 10 (part of the CyberLink Media Suite 10 Pro suite package) does exactly what you need, and will run with less burdensome demands your XP system than the inferior options for more money (e.g. recent and current versions of Nero and Roxio) that are out there.
