I read same posts about problems between Brea and Vivid.. Is she a vivid's girl yet? If no is she free?( I hope, i would watch her in a gonzo movie)...
I've also heard that Brea Lynn is no longer with Vivid. Which would mean that both "new girls," Brea & Kayden Kross, that Vivid hired since last winter have left. Kayden's departure has been confirmed, but not Brea's. BTW, Brea has not been on her MySpace page for over a month, so it doesn't look good. And what this also means if both Brea & Kayden are gone, is that Vivid has failed in its stated goal of "creating a new group of Vivid Girls." Bottom line: IMO the "traditional" porn biz of studios or producers hiring girls to appear in sexvids is dying fast. Mainly it's being replaced by a combo of personal websites and other on-line delivery methods. For several reasons, girls are no longer willing to perform in studio financed product--and are realizing, within a matter of months, that they can make the direct connection to their porn-buying fans. Couple this trend of Newbies dropping out of the traditional biz (or, like Risi Sims, never really getting in) with the flood of recent retirements (Jenna, Belladonna, etc.) and that scene from Paul Thomas' "Debbie Does Dallas" shot in the graveyard has a whole, new meaning.
Don't mean to hijack the thread but just as a quick aside, you mentioned that the kayden kross departure was confirmed, any specific word on what caused the break up? Thanks in advance
No. Kayden says she'll talk about it in the future on her MySpace page. Currently she's Feature Dancing on the East Coast, and is scheduled for a Suze Randall shoot--which she would not have been able to do if she were still with Vivid. Still no word from Brea, or any activity on her MySpace page since the end of July.
A poster at freeones messageboard who had repeatedly e-mailed Vivids technical support drilling them about Breas contract status got the following reply (sometime back in april this year):
