Missing was such a big project for us and it was really humbling to see it aptly rewarded. The expo itself was also a blast .. we had 5 Girlsway girls, including India Summer who made a rare appearance to sign for us. GOTY Jelena Jensen also dropped by for a surprise signing shift! We sold a ton of DVD titles and t-shirts ... actually the t-shirts were so popular that I think we'll open up a store on the website to sell them year round. 2. I'm beginning pre-production on the next feature now. I'm scaling back this year to focus on only two very big projects, while Alan continues to up his game with his mini-series. The only thing I'll leak for now is that it's going to be a full length feature film :) 3. No, I don't think I'll ever be a performer ... after watching everything that goes in to actually shooting good sex on camera, I would be pretty terrible at it! It's way more complicated than it seems. I think I'll stay behind the camera, except for my Hitchcock cameos. 2. I was less of a fan of specific performers and more of a fan of certain scenario types or situations. In fact, one of the main reasons I wanted to start Girlsway was because I could never find enough of the scenes I was searching for. [Link] |
| Eva93 Member 774 Posts 2/16 | Posted - Jan 25 2017 : 4:44PM 1) Are you able to talk about any of the forum improvements that we got a notification about in our members inbox recently? 2) Not counting the award wins, what are you proudest of that Girlsway achieved in 2016 and why? 3) Alternatively, if you could do something over in 2016, what would it be and why? 4) This may be a better question for Alan, but I'll ask it anyway! ^^ I think we can all agree that there's a bit of a backlog on models either making their GW debuts (I know you've said Kira Noir is someone you really like, and personally Mona Wales is on my list of "I can't believe it hasn't happened yet), make their returns to the site (Ariana Marie and Jillian Janson spring to mind) along with maintaining the hot streaks of models that have frequented GW lately (Angela White, Serena Blair, Bree Daniels, etc.). With the rapid growth and success of Girlsway, has there been any talk of expanding production at all to allow for more scenes, and thus more models? 5) Similarly, in doing the casting thread each month, I've noticed a large spike in popularity in models outside of LA (Tracy Lindsay and Dido Angel being in the top 15 most requested models for 2016 if all votes are tallied up). Do we have any hope of a test-run for perhaps special shoots to accommodate this spike in member requests for these models as we've seen in the past? [Link] |

On the ADT Pretty Dirty thread, there was discussion that the membership price will now include unlimited downloads. Please confirm that the price now includes unlimited streaming and downloading. The website join page continues to only say unlimited streaming. 2. Will the Pretty Dirty release schedule stay at one scene per week or are there plans to have more releases per week? 3. I was kinda wondering lately if you were planning on releasing scenes in 4k and 60 fps at some point in the future? I guess it's not really important but I'm just the kind of person who likes to have everything at the highest possible quality. ^^ & ^ Yes please! That would be amazing! Obviously Girlsway should remain somewhat stylistically unified but it would be awesome if every once in a while a guest director would direct a mini-series. I LOVE watching gg porn but it is hard to find good dedicated sites these days. I have been a member for a few months and have to say it has been well worth signing up. My questions are mainly centred around the fan interactions and fantasy submissions on the forum of which I have really enjoyed being a part of. 1) What sort of things do you look for (or try to avoid) when selecting member fantasy submissions to include in the monthly production run? 2) How many fantasy submissions do you usually select for a given month? Is there a certain quota for each site (wy, mg, gwo) or is it more based on if you find you like a particular one it gets considered for filming? 3) If I have a fantasy submission or a pairing request post that is a month or two old does it still have a shot at coming true or do you tend to decidd whether or not to pick them up while they are still fresh on the thread? I have a meeting with them tomorrow to go over various potential solutions for a new forum template that will cater more to our needs as a group. Once I have the proper 411 and a timeline, I'll update you all! 2) I think I am the most proud of the community we have built - fans, models, and Girlsway crew alike. Everyone is so passionate and involved with the brand that it really is being carried on the shoulders of many. As the one who originally started this crazy ride, you can't believe how satisfying it is to see it mean so much to so many people ... brings tears to my eyes. 3) I've been lobbying very hard to get the forum upgraded and it has been a bit of an uphill battle, since our parent company juggles so many different projects and priorities. I wish I could have formalized / streamlined some of the amazing ideas that stemmed from the forum sooner to help ease communication. You all made amazing due ... but I wish I could have shown more support in terms of development. I have many other smaller, more micro things I would do over but this is probably the biggest. 4) I am adding one more update per week (to take us to an all-girl network with 5 weekly updates) starting in June 2017!! That should mean more models :) 5) In terms of arranging shoots in other states where these models live? Likely not, because of all the legal challenges with shooting production that happen right now. But, we've certainly reached out to models like this to see if they will ever come into LA and to try and offer them scene packages as incentives to get them in. The reality is that we shoot approx 20-24 scenes per month for GW and cast approx. 30-40 models to fulfill those scenes so we literally have too many model requests for spots ... the waiting lists get very long! I'm actually going to post a thread that addresses just this question and gives you all more direction on the "ideal" way to submit an idea. Basically, I look for something that is easy for me to read and quickly get a summary of vs. an extremely long scenario that includes a ton of specific dialogue. I like ideas on key lines or verbiage to include but when members put complete scripts it usually causes me to skip over because it can be very hard to read due to the formatting issues of the forum. Less is more when selling an idea for me. I similarly have issues with submissions that are full of grammar and spelling issues or are very difficult to read. But, I need to lead by example and give you guys a better idea on the structure I like. It's part of my plan to formalize the whole member submission process! 2. Right now, about 50% of my monthly production is sourced from member ideas! Alan and I usually ear mark about 5-6 days a month for our own series and ideas and I try to fill as many remaining slots as possible with member fantasies! 3. The beauty of my position is that, usually if there are any pairings I really reallt want to see, I have the ability to get them together. But, casting includes so many variables that it often isn't just about what I want. But, I've been able to see a lot of pairing requests come to life and I am sure there will be many more in the future. I'd love to have Nina Hartley on the site in 2017 and have her paired up with Cassidy Klein, who has always wanted to work with her. When there is a real off-camera interest and connection, that's usually the type of pairing I try to get behind!! 2. None that I'm aware of now but Alan mostly manages that aspect of casting for us! I trust his instincts completely on when a girl is ready to graduate. That being said, getting Gia Paige on the site is on my list. 3. Probably not many GG for the near future on Pretty Dirty ... but I will continue to shoot them periodically. I don't think we have enough for a DVD yet. 4. It's not even comparable ... with a strapon, you can use it to bring pleasure to someone else but it is definitely an inanimate object. With a feeldoe, you feel so much yourself when you're using it that it is a way more pleasurable and intimate experience for both partners. BUT ... the feeldoe does require some skillz to keep it in! 5. The upcoming ART OF LESBIAN ANAL scene is a vignette. There was an error with the thumb and it is going to be replaced with the proper branded thumb so you guys can clearly denote that it's a vignette. We did take the conscious decision to add sub-titles to the scenes, however, to add a bit more context than just part 1, part 2, etc.. [Link] |
