http://www.btls.com/news/stories/bree-olson-in-town.html I don't listen to Bubba at all but I found a link to Bree's interview that occurred on 3/23/09. Problem is it doesn't really explain what happened. Anyone listen to Bubba and can explain? Topic Moved by - Steph on Mar 25 2009
IMO radio "shock jocks," including Howard Stern, only invite porn performers on their shows to humiliate and make fun of them. They laugh "at" the performers, not with them. This has gone on for years, with Bubba's tricking Bree into thinking she was letting a blind guy feel her up, just the latest example. As for Bree, like other posters, I think she's a really nice girl, who works hard to please her fans. But I also remember her being on another shock-jock's show a few months back, and she jerked-off some strange guy (that the show pulled in off the street) with her tits. So this is at least the second time she's agreed to "get sexual" with guys that Shock Jocks set her up with. Could be time to just say "no" to playing this game. Even if it means that she gets booked on fewer radio shows. Being constantly played for a fool, doesn't help a performer's career.
I agree to an extent. But there is actually a difference between the way Howard does it and everyone else does it. Howard does it the "right" way and usually has the porn star walking away feeling good about herself and also manages to get her to ride the sibian. BTLS and others are about humiliation and they always fail. Bree has been on HS about 4 times and always had good experiences but goes on a show like Bubba's and freaks out. Also Shawna Linee(sp?), she goes on Howard's show and walks away smiling but goes into O&A and leaves in tears. It's all about how you handle these people. Just because they happen to be porn stars doesn't mean they don't deserve your respect. Bubba was totally in the wrong here trying to get her to give one of his staff members a hand job under false pretenses is very very bad karma. Edited by - unferth on 3/25/2009 10:28:59 AM

Personally I think Bree overreacted that the guy isn't blind. What's one more handjob in her line of work? It's probably the equivalent to a handshake. She was on the show to plug whatever she was promoting. Guys like Stern, Leykis, Bubba, etc etc know that they are bigger than the girls that push their club appearances on their shows. They also know that the girl is benefiting more from being on the show than they are for having the girl on the show, thus they decide to not make it a cakewalk for the girl. More than one girl on Stern has been naked and had lunch meat, cream cheese bagels etc tossed at her naked butt. They've also been teabagged by his interns. They're know as shock jocks for a reason, and Bubba is just a lame Stern wannabe. What I thought was amusing about the video was that at no point are we even sure it's Bree as no face was ever shown. The minute the girl grabs the camera, the camera man starts whining about not touching the camera. Kind of funny that he wants to stick it in her face, but when she reacts he starts whining like a little bitch because he'll probably be stuck with repair bills
Shes a great performer and a sweet kid. I called in on the Bubba show to help her interview out and she was fine when I hung up. When I came back to the show she was grabbing cameras and shit, I couldnt figure it out. At the AVN Awards she was the most timid girl we interviewed for the Red Carpet show. Something else must have happened to piss her off that much. By the way, when was the last time the Award Show was out on DVD? Last year was great and I'd like to pick it up. Cezar
I've heard a partial replay of this and heard quite a bit of discussion afterwords. I don't think they were trying to make fun of Bree or pull a fast one on her. I think they were trying to trick their intern into thinking he was going to get something from Bree under false pretenses, *then* half way through, they were going to secretly tell her what was going on, and have her pretend to be mad at him, leaving him with nothing. Not that great an idea for sure, but I don't think they meant malice. They're pretty straight forward when a girl has made them mad or whatever, and are mostly polite, though they have rough edges. It's just unfortunate that Bree figured it out before they could let her in on the joke, so she got mad. I heard an interview with her later that night were she tried to explain it all. They *did* make fun of that, but her main message was clear: She was mad because she thought they were trying to make fun of her. Anyway, probably not that big of a deal either way. Dr. P
Bree, I support you and think you are beautiful. Have over a dozen of your films and like the IR stuff. Your organism's are a joy to behold and your voice and dialoge or reality is incredible. You were the most beautiful woman at the AVN awards last year. You deserve the award because I have that DVD. Fuck these want a be dj's. You come out the winner when any of this shit happens. No such thing as bad press? Wayne In Dallas
I don't know the point in trying to trick Bree into doing something on the air. She's one of the best porn star radio guests and is always ready to do things on the air. Had they not lied to her, I have no doubt that she would have given the producer an handjob on the air. I've heard her on multiple appearances on Opie & Anthony where she blew a listener, who was in the studio audience (they have bleachers outside of their studio where listeners can come and watch the show live) and gave a handjob/tit-fuck to to the producer of one of the other XM shows. Neither time was there any level of coercion. It was something like: Opie: "Earl hasn't been with a girl in two years. Would you give him a handjob?" Bree: "OK. Can I blow Jim Norton too?"
It's available for [ invalid url ]. I'm sure that someone else has it online somewhere for free. But I don't know where. According to Audible, it was on 9/11/08.Edited by - Bill on 3/25/2009 9:38:25 PM
Unfortunately, people listen to these assholes and porn stars know it so they go on there to boost their popularity. In the best cases, it works, despite the host being a complete prick and having his juvenile fun at the expense of the girls (And getting paid for it, no less). If these guys weren't being dicks on the radio, they'd be working at Subway or something. They have no real talent other than having no shame or humanity.
i dont know i think its kinda funny.... i mean shit she could have just rolled with the punches and made for good radio... hello all reality shows are scripted.... just shows some girls need to have everything spelled out for them to avoid a bi-polar meltdown.... didnt someone mention her getting upset at avn also... something i vaguely remember her wanting to get into a fight with a black girl for calling her a whore or something.... "im the girl your mother warned you about"
What REALLY Happened on Bubba the Love Sponge Show. There are many reports and speculations floating around on what happened on March 23rd of 2009 but only I, Bree Olson know the full story. Not one person was with me every moment of what happened on this day, so here I am giving you a full unbiased scoop of everything you want to know. About two weeks prior to being on the show I was told I was going to be giving a blind, long time listener of Bubba the Love Sponge Show a hand job. They had inquired about a blowjob as well however that was quickly vetoed. They had even informed my publicist that I could wear a glove if I wanted to. From the first time I was told I was going on the show until the day of when I arrived, this is the impression I was under. Like the tons of other radio shows I’ve been on this one started out no differently. I wait in the green room, sign my model release, they take an array of pictures of me and then I am sent into the room where they are broadcasting. I begin to chat with the guys on the radio show and there are camera men too of course filming all of us as we have our radio talk show. We speak about my career in the adult film industry and Bubba and I talk about Indiana seeing that we both are from there. After about twenty minutes of the interview they decide to bring in the “blind listener” to introduce us to each other. The moment he walks in I look around the room to see everyone’s reactions. I was expecting them to be laughing and for them to say, “Ha-Ha, we got you Bree! He’s not really blind!” But nobody was. This was when I realized that they actually expected me to believe that this man named Pantera (which sounds like a radio personals name to me, not some average Joe off the streets) was blind. As I’m looking at this man he is wearing Ray Ban sunglasses. Call me crazy, but I wouldn’t expect a blind person to be rocking a pair of Ray Bans. He also had a “walking stick” which wasn’t a blind person’s walking stick at all. I’m not exactly sure what it was, whether it was a piece of camera equipment or what not but I assure you it was not a walking stick. After noticing all of these things I tell the guys right on the air that this man is not blind. I kept being a good sport about it and I was smiling and laughing as they try to prove to me that he is blind by throwing soccer balls at his head. Shortly after that they went to a commercial break and I was lead back into the green room with the person I now know as Pantera. In the green room I keep asking him more questions like, “What are you watching on TV?” ,thinking I could trick him. I also asked him what exactly did the doctor say that caused his blindness one year ago. He replied, “I was in a motorcycle accident.” I told him I already know that but what was the exact medical term that caused his blindness. He couldn’t come up with anything and said he was not good at medical terminology. I know that no matter if someone is good at medical terms or not they will remember some when they have went through such a traumatic life altering experience. At this point I start to become upset. They have me take pictures with this man and as I’m taking pictures I can barely hold back the tears in my eyes. I decide to go outside away from everyone because I do not want them to see me crying. I was so torn and confused about what was going on and I had an office full of people that didn’t have my back. I thought that if I went through with this hand job that they would surely throw out the “tricked the dumb porn girl card”. The only thing that made sense to me then and still makes sense to me now of why they would do that to me is this: They “trick me into thinking this man is blind, I give him a hand job and then they make fun of me the last half of the show of what a dumb whore I am. I had been giving all of this detailed information two weeks prior and leading up to this point so there could be no other explanation. As I am outside crying people come out and try to talk to me. I just kept my head down as the tears stream down my face. Never in the three years that I have been in the adult industry had I ever had a bad experience. This was my first. I felt helpless and nobody was there to help me. I didn’t say a word to anyone. I just kept quiet. I was just trying to figure out what to do and I was weighing my options. This is when the camera guys come up getting close up shots of me crying. At this point I still haven’t said a word and start walking off their property. I figure that once I am off their property they will leave me alone. At this point I am still weighing my options on what to do. I just wanted to have a moment by myself and get the tears out of my system. I wasn’t allowed that alone time though. The cameras kept on following me and watching every painful tear I shed. My sadness quickly turned to anger. In my head I am thinking, “What kind of sick fucks want to watch a 22 year old girl cry. I wasn’t bothering anyone. I wasn’t even talking, I just had tears rolling down my face. You know the part in Godfather 1 where they are at the wedding and they take the guys camera, smash it on the ground and throw him some money? That’s exactly what I wanted to do. But I didn’t. I grabbed the camera and held on to it insisting to have the tape that has ten minutes of footage of me crying on it. I didn’t touch the camera man, I just took hold of the camera and said to give me the tape. C’mon guys…. I’ve been in the business three years. You would have all known long ago if I was some monster woman. Everyone has feelings and everyone has a point where someone has pushed them too far. As I said before in three years I never had anyone treat me the way these people did, and that’s exactly why you seen the reaction they got from me. They don’t show you the great interview. They don’t show you me crying for ten minutes. All they show you is when I had enough and finally gave them the reaction they were hoping for all along. Am I proud of what I did? No. I am embarrassed and ashamed of myself. What would I have done differently? Instead of going outside, crying and thinking about coming back in, I should have ran. Ran, before they even had a chance to see which way I went and then I would have called a taxi. Honestly, there was no other way I could have avoided them other to take an extreme measure as that. For all my fans and for everyone that supports me, thank you very much. I love you guys. Xoxo Bree Olson This blog's from her myspace, thought I'd print it here. Just to play devil's advocate here, it took a couple of decades before Jerry Lawler ever admitted his bit with Andy Kaufman was a piece of work.
She called "bullshit" from the moment she saw the guy, but she continues with it? Hopefully, the lesson learned from this is TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS. This isn't really that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things. It'll be forgotten as soon as the next meltdown occurs which will be shortly I'm sure.
I'm a big fan of Bree's but I'm kinda shocked and disapointed to hear that she's giving handjobs and blowing strangers in radio bits. She's interesting and smart enough to be a good interview without doing that. It's kinda hard to expect those guys to treat her or other pornstars with much respect when she's doing stuff like that. About the Bubba thing....I listen to Bubba almost every day for about a half hour on my way home. I like Bubba when he's just talking about what's going on in his life and on what's happening in the news. The other stuff he does I've never found funny. Bubba thinks pain and humiliation is funny and entertaining. I don't get what's funny about it. Particularly when Bubba just kinds of bullies his staff into it. It's not funny, creative or interesting to me. Bree is right when she thought they were doing it so they could laugh at fooling her afterwards. Bubba loves the fact that Bree got upset and freaked out because he thinks that's great radio. I heard the segment and I thought the whole thing was just a stupid waste of time. The interview went fine and he had to ruin it by trying to find a way to humiliate someone. Bree would've probably done what he claimed to have wanted without the lame "blind man" shtick...but that's not interesting to Bubba because that wouldn't have humiliated anyone or cause them physical pain.

Why are you assuming she gave the dude a handjob Draxx? Why haven't these losers produced the footage that their little 'skit' was supposedly all about? I think it fell through and they were reduced to posting the meltdown instead. I can't believe this kind of pathetic shit passes for entertainment on US radio these days. The meathead Maxim mindset is so fucking boring.
I'm a fairly big fan of hers, too, but this doesn't really bother me--if it's actually ever happened. I just think that it shows that she's something of a free-spirit. This was the impression that I came away with after watching the "O2" BTS segment, as well. In terms of the incident, it's becoming more apparent to me that it was the fact that they insulted her intelligence that really set her off. It's easy to see how someone would feel bad under these circumstances. It's one thing when it's a game and you're playing along--even sexually--it's quite another when people are trying to publically degrade your intellect and stereotype you. My wife and I met Bree last September at the Exxxotica NY convention, and we found her to be super-nice and quite intelligent...to the level that we interacted with her. Guess I'll cross Bubba the Love Sponge off of my list of possible shows to listen to...along with O&A, whom I have never liked.

Totally serious, what planet are you from? Porn girls, centerfolds, strippers, etc all go on syndicated radio shows for publicity about an upcoming dance gig, new magazine spread coming out, new dvd being released. No different than mainstream going on Leno.
This is the kind of thing that makes women wish they didn't go into porn. There she is, a lovely girl with a sweet, natural sexuality - happy, friendly and eager to please. She brings this gift to the world, and some two-bit clown I never heard of wants to humiliate her in public. Wow. He made her cry. What a big tough man he must be. How many times a week do you suppose she gets treated this way by some pissweak "man" trying to boost his own pitiful self esteem? We even get them on this forum sometimes, trotting out the old "porn girls are dumb whores" line. Is it any wonder it would get her down eventually? Hey guys - if your dick is the size of a peanut, get over it. Don't take out your frustration on women.

^+1. As much as I love Bree performing, she should have walked immediately if what she says happens actually happened. I compare this episode to the porn performer supposedly mistreated on set, complains about to anyone who will listen, then signs the release.

fu_q>>>In terms of the incident, it's becoming more apparent to me that it was the fact that they insulted her intelligence that really set her off.<<< That sounds like a solid analysis to me. There are of course other factors that could have been involved. Like perhaps simply being tired. When your tired your just not in the mood to fight - especially for a 22 year old. What time of day did this take place? Edited by - Richie04 on 3/27/2009 12:02:18 AM
Yeah, but at least Jay has respect for his guests unlike these fuckwits. Listen, maybe I took your previous comment the wrong way (so apologies in advance) but what I got from the whole "a handjob is probably equivalent to a handshake" thing it that regardless of this radio show fiasco, if a guy walks up to Bree Olson and asks her to jerk him off then what's the big deal? She does it all the time so one more isn't going to hurt. To me that's utter bullshit. What these girls chose to do (or not do) with their bodies is completely their business. Just because we watch them have sex on screen in no way means we have any sort of ownership over them. If Bree is comfortable giving handjobs and blowjobs on radio shows then great. No one has the right to demand one from her, though. Not that I'm saying you literally said that but the notion was implied. I know little things like that shouldn't bug me but they do. Anyway, sorry for going off topic.
I know she didn't give that dude a handjob but judging by what she said in her own words she would've have and that was the plan. Plus others have posted that she's done this before (and perhaps more) on other radio shows.
I'm disapointed with it because Bree is smart and can be an interesting interview without resorting to sexual favors on a show. Plus, so many pornstars have to put up with people who think they're nothing more than slutty girls who'll have sex with anyone and what Bree is doing (if she's doing it) doesn't help matters. Now that those radio guys are expecting handjobs and such from pornstars the ones who choose not to do those things probably won't be asked to do those shows. Then there's the part of me that doesn't like when a girl is willing to do those things with just anyone. I know I should be thinking just the opposite but I find it sort of a turn off.
^What was the context of that video? It's hard to tell if that's even her or if someone is just making a parody of the whole incident. Edited by - fu_q on 3/28/2009 9:18:19 AM
I understand that their is a hefty amount of objectivizing (is that the word?) of women in adult, but that is in the realm of fantasy and lines are always drawn. This show, and others of it's ilk, blurs the line quite a bit, and no doubt it is a great publicity stunt. I think Bree knew this going in, but she has every right to say stop. For these douchebags to persist both by following her and continuing to comment about it on the radio is despicable, but it is by humiliating others that they sell their product. Taken in moderation, it can be clever at times, and funny... but like everything else, when pushed too far it is base pandering to the LEAST COMMON DENOMENATOR - the poor scmucks that are the devotees of the show. Many of us are on the outside looking in on what transpires to make a piece of shit show like that, and it evokes sympathy for a girl who's trying to do her best, enhance her connection to her fans, and be a good sport in the process. At the end of the day, like she said, she's a girl with feelings. You'd have to be less than human to respect that.

that was fucking hilarious. I know we live in this subculture where we're supposed to be super respectful to porn stars. But I'm not gonna lie its hilarious to fuck with them a lot of them aren't too bright. Some are, most aren't. This is just funny.
After hearing about instances like this (and this isn't the first time) maybe girls should expect the worst & then deem whether the publicity is worth the potential risk. Some psychological preparation/risk assessment as it were, & P.R. staff can be helpful in preparing/informing the starlets as well.
