I heard her and other girls left because they refuse to do the "Blackmaled" series, which is apart of most older girls new contracts at vivid.
I don't think this is why Briana left. It may be why some other girls left. Briana told me she was unhappy with the type of movies she was in and wanted to be able to control the type of scenes she would be able to do. She thought her fans liked her in more hardcore type stuff. Not gonzo, but close. Like "Perfect Match" hard, rough, full out type stuff. She doesn't like acting much. She likes the sex scenes.
Briana admits that she had a drug problem when she took off for almost two years. When she came back she had gained some weight and looked a lot healthier. ^^ Contract talks are very private. But, you can piece together some facts based upon actions. Back in 2005 Vivid decided to make a lot of changes to what their contract girls would do. During negotiations with each girl they put "on the table" anals, IR, b/g/b scenes, no condoms. Vivid wanted these items stipulated in contracts--and would pay extra for them. You can see the change in the Vivid product (and harder scenes by Vivid Girls, not just day rate girls) beginning in sexvids that were released in late 2005 and in early 2006. By late 2005 several Vivid Girls had not re-upped with contracts that included the new conditions. Why they did not sign will not be known in all cases, but several said publicly (in AVN online) they didn't like the "direction" Vivid was going in. I spoke directly with one Vivid Girl, now retired, who said she left because she didn't want to do anal. Bottom line: I don't think doing IR was the only reason Vivid Girls (as I recall) Sunrise Adams, Love Twins, Tawny Roberts, Lexie Marie, Nina Mercedez are no longer with Vivid. IMO, it was ALL of the new items Vivid wanted them to do, plus in some cases personal life reasons.
This is great news, I hope we get to see Briana doing anal in some DVDs soon, would be a shame if it's website based stuff only. Nothing says romance like anal sex.

OH, where i heard about the blackmale thing. Well there's this guy who post on another board all the time who said it. He seems to be very reliable. I mean 3-4 months before jennna haze, monique, or janine did i.r., he guaranteed they would do i.r. scenes. I don't know, he just seems to have inside scoop on the industry or something. Sunrise Adams is technically still under contract with Vivid, although on a personal LOA for an unspecified period of time. As I'm sure you already know, Tawny Roberts left because she was in a relationship and that relationship took a very serious turn for the I'm going to manager your career path. He led her to believe she was better off without Vivid and that they could start their own mobile porn empire and be bigger than Jenna Jameson. Using her name he got a ton of girls to work for their newly formed company (that never took off) and then stopped paying them. She eventually dumped this bozo and found her current boyfriend, whom of which they had a child together.
Briana is only 29. She started when she was 18 or 19 and went to vivid at 22. Been there for 7 years. She told me she wanted to only stay in front of the camera for another 2-3 years. My point is they did not leave ONLY because they didn't want to do IR, which was where the previous posts seem to be going. Anywone who reads my posts know I have major issues with contracts that stipulate specific sex acts/types of partners/no condoms. Anals, IR, b/g/b.
