I think the OP of this thread must have forgotten about Tera Patrick, as she's obviously a superstar. The only one besides JJ to have her own company/line (I don't count Belladonna's stuff as her own line, as it still fits into the Evil Angel catalog/atmosphere). She's also got a tremendous amount of mainstream recognition, which I think a lot of porn fans forget about, because she hasn't had the odd appearances in shows and movies like Stormy and some others. But she married a rock star, and that's big news no matter how you slice it. As for Jenna Haze, well she's the porn fan's porn star. Of the top three, she has obviously done the most movies over the past 3 years, the most feature dancing, the most appearances at events, etc. But she doesn't have the same amount of mainstream content that some others do. Briana Banks probably could have been number 1, but there was a fair period there where she really didn't work a lot, and that's probably what bumped her down. Because a few years ago, it was definitely JJ #1, and BB #2. Most of the other names make sense as far as looking at their output combined with their mainstream exposure . (Mary Carey, anyone?) But I am surprised by Taylor Rain still being so high on the list, since she's been retired for a couple of years now, and of course I'm also surprised by Stormy not being there.
