Just like the bikini waitress to topless thing . Doing porn has stigma -> less number of people are inclined to do porn -> Supply & demand -> people who do porn are paid more than they should be.(as compared to things without stigma) You are an outlier. You are the top 1 -5%. Very few porn stars have 8 years career. Considering that you only don't do the extreme stuff, that is even more impressive You are a very smart and clever woman and planned your career pretty well. So one can say that your experience is on the other end of the spectrum(the over acheiver) and is not the average experience of a woman who gets into porn. maybe the criticism of porn comes from those see stuff happen to the women at the lower end.
