Hello. This porn made my jaw drop it was so good when I firs saw it last year and I've been waiting many months for the DVD. Well, it's finally here and I get a defective one. Kacey's scene skips and jumps during the whole thing. I bought the dvd still shrinkwrapped. So I return it to DVDempire and just got a new one today . . . and it does the same thing in the same place. I guess a whole batch could be defective. Anybody else have a problem with this disc? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Are you sure that it's not just the tape that was skipping during the transfer from tape to dvd? I've seen that a couple of times before on discs, I had thought that it was the disc skipping but it was actually the tape that had jumped around a bit when they transfered it to dvd. I have never seen that on a Anabolic/Diabolic disc though.

If you get one DVD that's messed up, it could be the DVD. Two in a row, it's your player...9 times out of 10. So, what is your player?

Does it look like some sort of legitimate digital breakup or does it look like a rolling of the image? Image rolling would suggest that the master used for the transfer is screwed up. Hell, they aren't going to spend much to transfer a porno.

LOL! Unexpected, I never thought I hear such a compliment.

I don't consider myself tech savy, but my ego says fuck you sonic, you are at times.
..................................

If it happened exactly, the same skip, your player has trouble playing through those codes. (The coding, the coding inside the disc written on the aluminum foil)

If it's DVDRom, it's your player also, not the disc. Also, remember..DVDRom's suck ass when it comes to playing a disc smoothly. Some play smooth..but many stutter. The advantage of a DVDRom is progressive imaging, and hardly no layer changes.

Also, is your player a set top Panasonic? A new set top Toshiba model? The old Toshiba models played DVDs much better than todays.

List the player dude.

What player you have?

I have a Toshiba player I bought a year and a half ago. It's never had any problems with ANY DVD. I have some other Anabolic DVDs and they are not a problem. Does anybody actually own BUY2-you should. Thanks for replies everyone.

It's the Toshiba player rocco64.

I had about 15 diabolic flicks same thing as anabolic..and Lewd Conduct 5..always skipped the first scene.

I always wondered why?

But I went to the menu chapter selection, and selected the first scene and it played.

I had the Toshiba 2200. A crappy player.

Also..remember Torris...he too faced lots of problems with anabolic titles, and I believe he had a Toshiba player.

Problem is, Toshiba seems to be the only company with that "Upgrading Versionware" crap.

Get a Sony next time, to avoid future problems.

I have the Sony 560D and man, everything plays flawless.

P.S: Toshiba does not do 540 lines like they say in the manual..no player does. The player only does 480 lines, that is it.

Don't believe the hype.

The toSHITba has reared it's ugly head again. Their players are crap, what's the use of having a dvd player if it won't play half of the discs out there? I feel bad for the folks out there that were unlucky enough to shell out their hard earned money for one. If you like to watch a lot of porn, get the Sony, even the bottom of the line (which I have) has played every porn disc I have ever put in it (I've watched over 100 on it), and it's got great picture quality.

That too..Sony has a much better "film-like" image. Tosiba deducts lines on your television screen I believe, for anamorphic dvd images.
............................

My 560D has resolution image enhancement and different color image options, plus screensaver (DVD Coverart on screen).

Not to mention..the 560D is 3inches tall, and about 9inches in width. Very slim, small player.

Not a fucking light big box of empty metal like a Toshiba 2200..or 3109..though the 3109 is a much better player than the 2200.

guys - you can't blame the player until someone else who has seen bring 'um young 2 verifies that it is not a disc problem.

i know many of you have had problems with toshibas, and i have had problems with my newer toshiba. but my older toshiba has never had a problem playing any discs. i don't know the models numbers. but really it's all irrelevant until we hear from another person who has seen this particular DVD.

So I played the DVD in a friend's Panasonic and it played fine-DAMN! Why would the Toshiba suddenly not work? (It plays everything else fine). It's a model SD2008 if that means anything. I took it to be cleaned. I still believe there's hope. BUY2 is incredible-rent it from xrent guys.

OK now we can blame the player :)

rocco - there's a thread in which Tricia talks about a Toshiba upgrade. I don't know the details on it, but if you search for posts by Tricia in this forum with keyword Toshiba you should be able to find it.

Or maybe someone here remembers the details??

Any of you guys ever had problems with Anabolic/Diabolic on Sony players?
We have the most compaints from people using *bolic on Sony.

Funny thing is
when we try ourselves, we take 20 pieces of one title and like 15 don't play (Error "No Disc")
and 5 play on our own Sony.

*bolic says they've never heard about that issue but will take care of it. But we've never heard
anything lateron then.

Just curious...

Only had two problems with Ana/Dia-bolic titles with my Sony
1. Stutters and crashes just before the end of the last chapter of the Selena Steele GBG disc.
2. All but one or two trailers inacessable on one of those 2 on 1 discs (I think it was the second one).
other than that it's been smooth sailin'.

OOOh it means a lot my man.

First..I bet The Matrix has trouble right? Second, I bet also you are having trouble with many mainstream DVD movies right? If you want to fix this model, you have to update the lastest driver, yes, it's a computer, but you cannot do it yourself. You have to call Toshiba, and if your warranty expired which I am positive it did, you will pay $70 bucks for the upgrade and, you probably won't get your player back, and you'll get a similar one that is refurbished.

At least I believe it's like this..I remember Toshiba's ways.

Your older Toshiba player..it's the 2109 right? Yep.

Want to know why the 2109 plays everything? The 2109 was not supposed to be a consumer product. Toshiba put all it's focus on this player Model 30** (Then changed later on to 2109 for consumers) and then they gave these players away to only store/companies/manufacturers for testing DVD movies.

Then..manufacturers were impressed by this player, and wrote to Toshiba that why they don't make it a consumer product. Toshiba took the advice, and then made it the 2109, a consumer product.

The 3109 is not a 2109. The 2109 is a player that stands all alone, victorious.

After the 2109...comes newer models that can't hang, because Toshiba focused too much on enhancements that we don't need.

Heck, even the newer models, don't have quick layer changes like the 3109 or 2109. That sucks.

So if you're buying a newer Toshiba...good luck. And...Toshiba has been going backwards ever since they released the 2200 Model player.

Panasonic on the other hand, is doing much better than Toshiba.

Sonic,
I have never had any problems with any mainstream titles (I haven't played Matrix on it). I rent many DVDs from Netflix and I've honestly never had a problem with this player for a year and a half. Occasionally a disc skips, I take it out, dust it off and then it plays fine. Does anyone know anything about the Sampo codefree player?

No, but I could tell you that it sucks.

Reason? Who the heck is Sampo? If hardly no one knows, that equals to crap.

And this is the plain truth.

Is is good just because it's codefree? Nah...what counts is the playability, something I am positive this player has faults in.
