Blonde Louise Glover, 26, struck Maxine Hardcastle's head against a toilet rim up to ten times. She even tried to push her head down the lavatory during the attack. Miss Hardcastle — the daughter of 80s musician Paul Hardcastle — was left covered in blood. She also suffered hair loss and was left with bruises on her face, and scratches on her arms and legs. Hove Crown Court heard the model launched her vicious attack after accusing her victim of looking at her husband during a night out in Brighton, East Sussex. Glover, whose last known address is in Loughton, Essex, turned on Miss Hardcastle after telling her and her friend: "I know what you Essex girls are like." During the trial the victim said she had "pleaded" with Glover to stop her attack on December 16, 2007, but she refused. Miss Hardcastle said: "I couldn't breathe through my nose because I had blood coming from it. I thought that if she put my face down the toilet I wouldn't be able to breathe. "I did my best to keep my face away from the water." Glover was found guilty of causing assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The jury took an hour to reach its decision. The glamour model, who has made semi-naked appearances in magazines and newspapers, fainted and sobbed in the dock, after the verdict was announced. She later wailed loudly, telling the judge: "My whole life's in limbo." Judge Charles Kemp had to tell her to be quiet and warned her she could face jail, saying: "All the court's sentencing options have to be open."
