No I remember her. She had what is known as the "public school" accent. It's kind of the British equivalent to the US television midwest accent. Ashley went to some kind of boarding school. Posh usually refers to the rich neighborhoods of London, say Sloan Square or Belgravia. Those accents have very broad vowels and often leave off the ends of words.
If you go to public school in England that would more than likely mean you're posh. Public schools are fee paying institutions that are just open to the public (i.e they won't check your religion etc) but most of us can't pay their fees and some 90% of us attend a Comprehensive school run by the state.
As for the fairly posh English accent it isn't restricted to London, in fact it's doesn't really tell you where the person’s from. Back in the day people used to get elocution lessons and so you can get people from as far away as Scotland speaking with a posh English accent. It’s often called RP Received Pronunciation or the Queen’s English basically people from a certain background all speak like that but others learn it, I’ve even heard Italian Aristocrats with that accent.
Of all the English Girls in porn I wouldn't say I consider any one to have that posh plummy accent.

Well, with television I bet just about anyone in blighty can do any kind of accent from any area. Not everyone sounds like Eliza Dolittle or Henry Higgins.
I would love to hear some girl with an off-the-wall accent like Cornish or Tyneside. John Cleese was a master of THAT accent.
Of course the one Brit porn star I really miss is Claire Kiernan AKA Scotti Andrews. Her Glasgow brogue was almost arousing as her big tits!
Taylor Wane has a Tyneside (Geordie) accent, but she covers it up with a fake posh accent, i can tell though. I think a scouse accent would be amusing in porn. Perhaps if Jennifer Ellison or Danielle Lloyd would do some movies.

That's the one British accent that I thought all Americans know. I've heard that the classic cockney accent is dying, though. The native born Caucasian East Londoners are becoming better educated at the same time that immigrants are moving into the old cockney neighborhoods, introducing other languages and accents into the area.
But Charles didn't love Diana. There's something very admirable about having the trophy wife first and marrying for love second.

Josephine James (who sometimes goes by "Lady Josephine") is my new candidate for a Brit pornstar with a convincingly "posh" accent. I've been trying to find an online clip to support my case but without luck, so you are just going to have to take my word for it.
This all makes me think of why i avoid British porn/pornstars (with some exceptions being Roxy, Isobel and Holly). It's all a bit too close to home and puts me off a little, kills the fantasy when someone so everyday/ordinary pops up. Anyway, Nici Sterling is about as posh as you'll find in porn.
Posh accents in Britain have very little do to with where you're from and more to with what class you are. Being working class scum and from the Westcountry I'm a bit ohhh arrr. But for someone like Hannah Harper who was born in Devon into a middle class family I believe, she's not noticebly "ohhh arrrrr get orrrff my landdddd!" Ashley Long wasn't so much posh but she does have a bit of an upper-middle class way of speaking. Most other British pornstars are as common as muck! I'm trying to get Isabel to confess where in Wales she's from. I've read on a profile that it's Cardiff, but surely all the best whores in Wales come from Newport and Swansea! She can't be from the valleys as she's got a milder accent. As Isabel knows I love her very much, but being as I'm English it is my god given duty to tease anyone from Wales. PS as a connoisseur of invective, I've always loved the English euphemism for a dressing down. "A ripe bollocking" I first heard that phrase out of the mouth of the great actor Helen Mirren. Who, at 60 still looks fabulous in the buff!
