Producers being under the impression that if they pair a black girl with a black guy the scene will get a low rating or wont sell 2. Sometimes the girl is convinced that if she holds out long enough and she has a certain look she can get an "IR" rate for her 1st black scene. 3. Sometimes it is the agents and sometimes the girls decide that working with black talent will devalue her in some way, especially when she is new and popular. Anna foxx made this argument a few years back. A lot of the bigger sites and studios that produced black porn have cut way back on production but most are gone completely. Your West Coasts and Black Ice for example. Many of the producers are now small time and dont have the budgets of a brazzers, bangbros, or lansky, so they dont have the money for the best equipment or best sets and all the frills that come along with shooting with those studios. So agents and girls decide they are not worth it. 4. Also along the lines of #3 I am sure there is are more than a few Donald Sterling types out there who are porn fans. And the fact that a black girl does not do anything with a black guy is a plus to them. They would likely stop watching/buying a girls stuff if she performed with black men despite the fact that she herself is black. This happens a lot in the escorting world as well. [Link] |

None of the production couples have black partners except Lex and Savanna Styles and they are still second rate to the likes of LeWood, SinsLife, BAM Visions, and TrenchcoatX The piracy wave basically wiped out all the black-on-black genre. They were financially inferior to start and couldnt maintain the assets to shoot higher quality shoots and turn any reasonable profit I share Julie's sentiments, as a black man, it's frustrating wanting to watch black men but knowing that if you want to watch black females, it will be with a white guy 9/10 times, which in turn hurts the pockets of the black females if I continue to skip over it. We have Lex, LT, Mandingo, Dredd, and countless other B-level black males but it will cost an arm and a leg to see them paired with these newer black females The only advice I have for Julie is to follow in the footsteps of the DeVoe's, shoot a mix of every combination and shoot on high quality sets, regardless if you have to recycle sets. I saw her and Rico argue over this, perhaps they could come together and Rico could be her flagship male talent to kick off.
