I've seen it in a handful of genres, but not sure any of the scenes really stand out to me. For example, it was fairly common in the "Fast Times at Deep Crack High" series, since many of these scenes fixated on cheerleaders. Vol 13 with Arianna Jolee (sp?) had her in a ponytail. I've also seen it other cheerleader-themed flicks. I've also seen it in a lot of Japanese/AV porn. I think with brunettes and long hair being more common over there, ponytails just are more natural.
