^^ I think that Kink just ran its course from when the previous owner had it. It was the best BDSM network but their costs to keep the Armory running must have been massive. I don't know why some sites, like the ones you mention, are still producing extreme hardcore on subscription-based sites but I suspect that Only Fans is a big reason why some sites have stopped updating. My understanding w/ the armory was that the city of sf had given them a tax break for years for maintaining a historical site. The city then changed their mind and were going to make them pay an undoable amount (the city were basically pricing them out to bring in apartments). I know the new ceo?cfo? of kink was on holly randalls podcast 3/4 years ago and talked abt how she was promoted b/c of her online experience and that the company was shifting that way ie now it aggregates scenes from different producers as opposed to doing most everything in house.
Imo once princess donna left the b/g kink sites seemed to become less extreme.
