| Panoramata Senior Member  15839 Posts 11/06 |  Posted - Aug 23 2021 : 7:43AMI am having difficulties at searching my own posts for a long time ( some weeks or even months ) : Often I get redirected to the first page ( my most recent posts ) When I look for my old posts I can sometimes go to page 39 for example ( showing up correctly ) , but then when I click on page 38 it´s the results from page 1 that show up . In this way I can not find exactly what I have posted at any given moment , as was usual when this bug wasn´t there .

| Drew Black broken crankshaft 8009 Posts 9/99 | Posted - Aug 23 2021 : 3:55PM The problem relates to the way the code stores a copy of large search result data sets to local disk. As a temporary work-around, edit the URL to remove everything after "&sid=". That value is a unique identifier that tells the forum code to fetch a previously-cached search result from disk. Remove that value from the URL and it will force a fresh execution of the search. [Link] |
