simon33333 All-Star Member 828 Posts 9/09	Posted - Mar 19 2015 : 6:33PM Hi folks, The question I have is this: When burning a DL from a site , I received a almost perfect copy from clips4sale.com on a 15 min clip. I used a 2hr Sony Dvd +r on a 8 speed on Nero. From Videobox the quality was not as good, but I believe if memory serves me, I copied more than one DL onto the same disc. When I use up more gb, does that compromise quality? Mr Skin seems to have perfect clarity. I don't do a lot from clips4sale as the prices are just too high. I have been using Sony DVD +R in light of the outstanding quality it has given me over the years. However, it has been discontinued by Sony. It seems that they are phasing out dvds in light of streaming. What r your thoughts on this issue. Thank u ahead of time for your input and I wish u well. [Link]

And then burning the downloaded files to a DVD. In such case, you are burning a data disc. With a data disc, the capacity is 4.7 GB for the so-called "2 hr" size. With a data disc, the 2hr figure is largely irrelevant. The critical thing is total file(s) maximum capacity 4.7 GB. Depending on the encoding format, bit rate, resolution, frame rate, etc....there can be much variation of running time vs file size. Zepern Member 174 Posts 5/15	Posted - Jun 15 2015 : 4:31PM Simon, at Videobox, if the movie is not tagged as "HD", then it typically will be in a lower resolution and lower bitrate. If you've become accustomed to watching DVDs or getting HD downloads from websites, this can be a bit jarring at first. Much of the time, this looks ok, but with some movies the image is worse than others. Either way, the sacrifice in image quality is obvious. If you're joining VB to catch up on older releases, this is what you must deal with. (In the world of porn, "older" can mean just a few years ago.)
