Buttman Comics Presents... Tales From the Crack
Has anyone checked this DVD out yet? What's it like? I'm going to order it as soon as my retailer gets it in. I love Evil Angel features with all the extras too. And what a cast!

Belladonna rides her cycle into a bar, discovers a Buttman comic book. Some of the stories come alive. I found these scenes pretty lame, including a sad waste of Hailey Paige.

But then, back in the bar, there is a torrid scene with Taylor Rain, and then an even more torrid scene with Belladonna on a pool table, a scene not to be missed by her fans, or anyone who might have, at any time, considered being a fan. Bella still rules.

How is Tiffany Mynx's performance in this?

I liked the Tiffany Minx Roxy Jezel, Brandon Iron scene. In one part Tiffany is in a 69 with Roxy, while Roxy is getting buttfucked. Then Tiffany starts doing ATOGM and Roxy's butthole starts getting kinda greasy, Tiffany's such a trooper. That doesn't stop her at all!!! Great Scene!

I also like the scene with Julie Night and the Nurses. I'm pretty happy with the movie overall, and I'm a huge fan of Buttman Comics and Horny Biker Slut by John Howard, which inspired the movie.

This one is next on my list to review for anyone who cares. Should have it done tomorrow-ish.

It's fantastic. Have I seen it? No, Tricia seems really proud of it and Crawdaddy put a lot of work into it from what I hear. That's enough for me!

Currently XRent has a great buy in it as part of their AVN Winner sale, for those who think they're going to need it. Mine shipped out the other day, but since I'm cheap and used media mail by the time I get it the review probably won't be up until early Feb.

I haven't been as excited about seeing a porn movie since "Fashionistas."

I don't expect the feature itself to be, as it isn't directed by Stagliano but the whole DVD package, with all the extras, making of and commentary etc will top Fashionsitas- and that is really something.

I'm taking a pass on this one, it's got rubbers in it.

It's got one rubber in it. And Evan Stone apparently made a comment during the movie that made the presence of the rubber actually make sense in the context of the movie.

I got this one last week. But haven't watched it yet. I want to wait until I have enough time to sit and watch it start to finish in one sitting (and then again with the commentary). Hopefully that will happen this weekend.

I really hate the idea of comparing the two as movies because I think they're so different. Comparing the DVD package as a whole doesn't seem like as complicated a task, but it still sucks because it's like looking at comparing driving a Ferrari and a Lamborghini. You know they're top class, and you almost have to see how nitpicky you can get to make a decision in the end.

Thanks Astro on the info on the X-Rent price. It wasn't listed in the price search so I would have missed it.

I appreciate this, but a comment like this really makes me afraid.
These are two COMPLETELY different movies. Tales had a budget about 15% that of Fashionistas. And although I'm very proud of Tales (and that it won Best Vignette Movie), I hope that people judge it for what it is - a fun porn movie. Tales 2 will hopefully take it up another notch, with David Crawford and I getting to make a lot more of the decisions.
I'd appreciate to hear comments from people once they've seen the movie.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE gimme more info on Part 2! which stories are you selecting for the stories?

Main Question: John Howard's work is full of she-males, and EA seems to have a stable of she-males to work with , I loved the nurse scene in part #1 but It coulda been so much better if it had been true to the story and the scene had 2 she-males and a woman in the scene. Why not make the scenes more like the buttman comic that inspired them?

However I can't really complain because the cowgirls scene had alot of hott shit in it that the story did not!!

Hold on, hold on. Let's concentrate on the one that's out for now.

Part 2 isn't even in pre- pre-production yet. I was just saying that at some point in the future, there will be a part 2 directed by me with David Crawford.

Honestly, I want to direct boy/girl porn for awhile before I consider directing she-males. I'm not that experienced behind the camera, and I think that until a director would be much more experienced, mixing the two genres is asking for a lot more complications.
Jesus, we got enough shit just for having a condom in the movie - I'm not sure I'm a good enough PR person to sell a she-male in my first straight movie.

Edited to add a couple smilies. - I only meant to be a smart-ass, not confrontational.

damn, would hate to think I'd have to forget about an Evil Angel feature because it had she-males in it. then again I was all siked about The Ass Collector until I read about the mini-orgy scene. the 60 yr old couples fucking would've been really hot to see though

I think that overall Tales From the Crack is a success. I really liked the first scene. It looks like Evan was having a blast, and I liked the overall look and feel. Haley looked yummie, as usual.

I absolutely loved Alicia Rhodes making love to herself in the mirror. Yeah, baby! You are that hot. Despite that, Shayna Knight stole the show as far as I'm concerned. That girl was having fun!

I thought the "cowgirl" story was great but it should have been tightened up (yeah, I know, budgets...). Also, the spaghetti western music was clever but I was really tired of it long before the scene was done. Otherwise, a good scene.

More later...

Boy, that's for damn sure. She just looked wonderful.

Anyway, I still have a review on the way, but there is a lot to go through on this disc so it's taking me a bit longer than I expected. On the whole I agree with Hardware's overall assessment.

Van Styles-
It was my pleasure. And thanks for the compliments.

I'd love to take a peek at something of yours. (hmmm... that sounds a little dirty)

Oh, I know it's not "The Fashionistas." My thought was more along the lines of wanting to see something a little different, with a different ambition, than the usual gonzo fare. And the previews look like a lot of fun. And I love the whole "Buttman Comics" idea, anyway. So ... I'm getting a copy tomorrow.

Reading MLyons' reviews reminds me why he remains at the top of my reviewers' list, a personal favorite, a comrade and a porn aficianado after my own heart. We have a lot in common, Lyons. You should write more often even if I know just how hard that is to consistently and constantly put out that kind of quality. Keep it up, though and you will always have at least ONE faithful reader.
