I am Buttmans editor and I came up with this new format, which we call "focused" For the longest time I have been unhappy with the porn that is churning out of the various studios. I have always captured a scene I like from a DVD and then edit to my liking. So when Buttman was looking for a new concept, I showed him what I do to HIS material. Buttman liked it and now we have "Buttman Focused". Focused is just that, very focused material edited together so it flows without distraction. Butts walking (sc 3) for example, is 12 min of JUST walking butts. the same with "camel toe (5 min)" & "Wedgie (5 min)" the rest of the categories are: butts walking 12:38 my nose your crack 5:28 Ass 31:36 Buttholes 37:12 Pussy closeup 34:10 Boobs 13:48 tit torture 9:52 Feet 14:40 orgasm 31:03 I would really like some feed back on what we have created. check it out and let me know your thoughts! For example in Buttman's Big Butt Backdoor Babes the Krysti Lynn segment where she's getting dressed and putting on those impossibly tight white short-shorts, IIRC it was kinda choppy, as if there was some amount of footage cut out of it. Likewise for the Sweetie Pie scene; the boxcover shows her alone outdoors in a location which never appeared in the video. And in general, in the Buttman movies, the "butts walking" always looks chopped, like maybe it was 5 minutes long but they put only 10 seconds worth in the final release. Isn't the ratio of "shot footage" to "released footage" usually very high? i.e. for every minute that shows up on the final dvd, there's 3 or more minutes of footage, and those other 2 minutes are just tossed aside? For your "focused" series, you could recover some good stuff from those orginally-discarded minutes. Right? That way you could have more material, and it would bolster your "it's not a compilation" argument. [Link]

It would also be good if this is something that's kept in mind in future shoots. Like we've seen in bonus stuff, the director could have the girls do specific things, and then it would be easier to create these "focused" scenes. The older titles on TAPE, he doesn't want to dig out, plus figuring out what WAS or was NOT used would be challenge, because there are no edit lists from back then. And it echoes a comment I made on here years ago that in my opinion the "next generation" of porn will be content that is displayed in a "clip" style format, indexed and easily accessible to people with one particular interest or another. A lot of his work was both artistic and erotic and was focused on one body part via the framing of his photographs. This correlates to what you're doing with the emphasis being more on eroticism rather than the classical study of the form (BUT yours encompasses both I think and throws in the moving images of cinema, rather than just a single frame of exposed film, which is really cool). You also add the exclusive factor of people's personal preferences or fetishes for a certain body part, and that heightens the experience of each particular viewer as well. I personally can do with or without seeing the girl's face, but it'd be cool to have it as an option maybe if someone didn't want to see it or didn't want to associate said body part(s) with a certain star. Sorta like, 'hey, here's 70 minutes of raw footage. Compile the bits you want into 20 or 40 (or however many) minutes and make your own clip'. That'd give them control over what parts of the body/face they see. OR Have the different cuts on the DVD. Sorta like how you can put deleted scenes into some DVDs/BluRays without having to manually watch the deleted scenes in the extras. I don't know anything about authoring discs, but i'm fairly certain you can put the data all on there and have different versions of how you view it and it will just queue up the scenes from the raw data on there. stinkfist Senior Member Subterfuge...... 7401 Posts 4/07	Posted - Jun 7 2012 : 6:42PM Dalars,how about some Buttman Focused On Clothes would love a segment with the girls changing into some clothes,for the boob lovers girls such as Sophie Dee/Kelly Divine etc trying on tops/blouses/bra's or girls such as Kelly Divine/Caroline Pierce etc slipping on dresses/trousers/jeans/skirts/bikinis/swimsuits etc.Or some of the girls slipping on stockings and suspenders etc.Looking forward to Buttman Focused 2. Edit,i know that clothing changes do take place in the Buttman movies but be great to see a longer segment devoted to this.I would buy a dvd of that alone even if no sex was going to be in the movie,im sure the girls rates for starring in the movie would be lower with no sex acts taking place so maybe that would allow for double discs or more girls.
