If it's used by more than one person and you aren't sure of the other person's sexual health, it's a good idea to use condoms on all sex toys involved in penetration.

Yeah I agree with the previous person. Always use a condom if you're sharing sex toys. In addition, once a month or so I wash them off with alcohol. Can't be too careful!

As above... if it's just you or just your partner, then no. But it should be made of a body safe material (silicone, Pyrex, etc). If both of the above are true, do not use a condom. No need.

If only one person is ever using the plug, you don't need a condom. If you can sanitize the thing, you don't need a condom either.

This is the internet. You should always expect to be pulled up on statements you make, especially when they could be contentious.

I don't claim to be an expert by any means but if I disagree with advice, you're wasting your time to expect me to nod my head an refrain from calling you out.

Why don't you read my first reply before you continue with the straw man campaign? I implied that condoms aren't necessary if a single person uses a sex toy.
