Hello everyone, Am new here and am considering buying a few DVD from either Alldelight.com and/or Blaze123. The thing is that I have no idea how these sellers ship their items internationally. I know they ship DVD's without case and that is cause of my worry because I like my DVD's in pristine condition. Especially the cover sleeve. So does anyone have any experience with these sellers in regards to international orders. Ferry
When adultdvdmarketplace first started accepting international orders i bought from Alldelight.com. They declared the full value on the package and it cost me an extra £30 (customs fees) to get the packet off Royal Mail. I emailed them about this and they refunded the money. Now they have more experience of shipping internationally and declare the value of the package at $20. I got a package from them the other day in good time. They ship discs and covers in a cardboard global priority envelope. Usually ok...but it's possible for these types of packages to get slightly crumpled edges. Mine were fine on this occasion. Personally i don't like the cases shipped as dvds inside can become loose and get scratched in transit. I prefer them in sleeves. It's worth reminding them by email about the customs declaration, just after ordering. I don't know about blaze123 but 1price is very good. He ships in bubble wrap packet.
Same customs issue happened to me when I sent a gift to my girlfriend (UK). She had to pay £30 which is about to what I paid for whole shipment. I didn't know they refund money in such cases. I hope it's not too late to ask now.
I've just placed my first order with Alldelight, but can recommend Blaze123. He sent my last order in 4 days from US to UK. Good packaging, no problems with customs. Discs all brand new, good prices.
Have made several purchases from Blaze123 before but this time, I was hit with custom charge as full value was declared on the form. The charge was £6.69 with an additional £8.00 added by RM
Blaze123 and Serious917 are the biggest ripoff, SCUMBAG sellers on ADM, ANYWHERE. Adult DVD Marketplace is generally very reliable but these two sellers will do NOTHING to stop at getting ALL your money, NOT giving you a refund for defective discs, exchange is the only talk they know, Blaze123 sells PIRATES of Sineplex DVDs, neither take responsibility for their defective items they sell, both are SCUM of the EARTH. AVOID.
Any parcel assessed as being liable for Customs charges will also incur a Royal Mail handling fee of £8. Any goods imported into the UK over the value of £15 are liable to import VAT. Gifts between private individuals over the value of £36 are also liable for VAT at 20%. However, it is rare for the customer to be charged. My local sorting office in SW England told me that it's very hit or miss with the vast majority of packages being allowed to pass on without charging. One good thing about films being sent without boxes is that the bigger the package the more likely, it seems, that it will be selected for charging. I don't think AllD would be terribly happy about you stating that they declare the value at $20 whatever, since international postal agreements require them to state the true value! International sellers on ADM vary in service. The quickest and most reliable in my experience are Perfectpartner and Luckystar. 1price and AllD are usually fine, although if you order an older film you may risk them not having it and not being able to get it. I have been disappointed on a few occasions. I've bought from Blaze123 ona couple of occasions with no problems. However they are very expensive and I only use them to buy films that I simply can't find anywhere else.
Alldelight have to be reminded to not declare full value. I got caught out again and it cost me. 1price, Luckystardvd and Tony55447 all give customs friendly declarations automatically.
