Hi I'm new. Despite the hardcore sex on camera you hardly ever hear anyone use the C word especially in US films.
For me, the filthy talk is as much of a turn on as the visuals. Joel Lawrence is the only US actor I've heard say it. Anyone know of any good filthy chat scenes?

Actually it was common to call women cunts in the US. Then women liberation came along and women got tired of being called cunts. Cunt joined the N-word and became the C-word. Bitch switches back and forth. In some corners it’s the B-word and for other women it’s worn like a badge of honor.

Cunt should be used when describing the vagina, and not the women.

To be sure it is spoken more often in the u.k but is still used sparing by all the women i know, that said when it is used I find it rather funny, but only brit accents do it for me when i hear it being muttered in a sexy term and I'd seek out some alicia rhodes stuff she has a dirty mouth or roxy jezel.

Its one of my favourite words, both in a sexual context and as an insult. You certainly don't hear the word much in porn, and frankly i'm astounded by some of the comments i have read here.
My girlfriend developed a liking for the word after reading 'Lady Chatterly's Lover'. She often uses the word when we are fucking. She would never dream of watching a porn movie though.

This is a bit older, but Chloe says cunt all the time. Usually something like "stab my cunt".

There's a women's studies bookwritten about this very word. I've always wanted to buy it. Not because I'm terribly interested in the social history of the word "cunt", but because it's such a pretty cover with such a dirty word on it.

Funny that Dutch is so close to German but for this we have completely different words. In fact we have 'kut' which is roughly equivalent to 'cunt' and can also be used as a swear word. In its literal meaning of 'vagina' it is rather coarse so I generally avoid it talking to a girl, except occasionally in the heat of the moment it can be hot.
We also have 'poesje' which is a literal equivalent to 'pussy' and also sounds similar.
I personally prefer 'kutje', the diminutive form of 'kut' which sounds more playful and less aggressive.

I'm leaving lurkerdom so I can share some thoughts on this topic.
The use of the word "cunt" was fairly commonplace during the Golden Age. Hearing Desiree Cousteau say it with her sweet little-girl voice guaranteed wood -- at least it did for me. Damiano films, especially, were peppered with it. There's a scene in his "Throat - 12 Years After" with Sharon Kane and Jerry Butler where Sharon talks about her "cunt" and "spreading herself" while Jerry eats her out. This scene has never failed me, if you know what I mean.
But yeah, somewhere along the line, "cunt" was abandoned in favor of "pussy", and porn has been the worse for it. (Seriously, since you can now get away with saying "pussy" on network TV, that word's use in porn should be scaled waaaaay back.)
As far as recent releases go, Steve Austin's "12 Nasty Girls Masturbating" series has many of the girls talking about their "cunts" -- "Do you wanna see my cunt?", "Do you like this cunt?", etc. Even though the girls are typically not my type, I have the entire series for this reason alone.

Sabrina Johnson used the word "cunt" a lot also before she left the biz (I still wish she was around).
My girlfriend likes when I use the word sparingly in bed and will even say it herself. Although she would never stand for me using in everyday conversation.

LOL "The more things change the more they stay the same." Years ago it was common to use slang and call your vagina a cunt. Somewhere down the road it changed to the commonplace "Pussy" which seems to be nothing more than a euphemism. Now we want to bring it back as a word that will titillate in the course of a movie. I have no problem referring to my cunt as, well...my cunt and using the word during sex. I will have to say though it usually does serve as a big turn on when I use it and I'm doing a guy.

English is a plain, crisp, sharp language, in words and grammar. Most words end in consonants and sentences are short. Cunt is a very English word. In the US, immigration from everywhere, native languages, and climate variety are pushing evolution of the English spoken here, especially the Latin influences with longer words ending in vowels and long florid sentences.
