I don't know where this bio came from, but a major magazine (the New Yorker, I think} did an article on Cal several years ago. He had major wood problems and was really just a hanger on in porn productions after awhile. I remember seeing him in Tina Tyler's scene in Gangbang Girl 10 and he never lays a glove on her. Spends all of his time trying to get wood. I think his self esteem was pretty well shot to shit when he and Jill Kelly broke up and led him to suicide.
Never had much sympathy for people who punch their own ticket, especially those who do it knowing that they sentence the living to a lifetime of pain and guilt,like Jill.It's one thing if you're terminally ill and in great physical pain. I'm a big believer in compassionate assisted suicide. But what Cal did was the ultimate in selfishness. There's an old saying - "Death is easy - LIFE is hard" So I shed no tears for "poor" Cal.Fuck him now and forever.
I do have a little experience with this. My grandfather blew his brains out and left my mother a wreck for years. May he rot in hell forever.
If you're depressed, get help, medication, whatever. Don't ever think your loved ones will be "better off" without you. They won't.
This is such old news, why did anyone bring this up in the first place?
That article quoted is pretty stupid. Never in a million years was Caemo "breasty" -- not even after implants. And to say any actor paved the way for "the Steve Hatchers and Dave Hardmans of porn" is far from a compliment.

Tom - at first, you're comment upset me, but thanks for elaborating. I know what you mean about people who commit suicide are very selfish and it's us who are still alive who have to deal with the emotions everyday.
Some people are SO sick though that, I don't know, they maybe aren't emotionally capable of getting help for themselves. Often, it's not until they've had help that they realize how far gone they were.

I've had a couple of family members (an uncle and a cousin) as well as several friends who committed suicide and its always a devestating loss when it sadly happens. Like Tom, I can understand why one would want to kill themselves if they were in a hopeless and painful medical situation, but it really is stupid just to do it for the ridiculous reasons many misguided people have done over the years. I guess its easy to see why one pull of the trigger has its appeal in times of extreme psychological and emotional turmoil...

I've known cases where it was sad but made sense as a personal choice, and situations where the act created a lot of trouble in the aftermath -- and was even sadder, because it didn't have to happen.
All this talk about Cal's suicide is making me think about other porn stars who've taken their lives, such as Savannah, Shauna Grant, Megan Leigh, etc. I wonder what they were thinking right before the bullets shattered their skulls? And more importantly, did they find the peace they were desperately seeking??
