I knew her in the late 90's when she was dancing in her home town, Colorado Springs and occasionally coming out to the west coast to headline in LA or San Fran. She was super nice friendly; partly because we were from the same home town in Kansas and I was, of course, a fan we became pretty good friends.

She was married in about 1996 to Paul, a native Canadian, who was a little younger than her and had been involved at least on the edges of the business. She had a son by a previous marriage who she lived for. She was buying a nice home in Colorado and was close with her Mother and her son's grandparents.

Late in 98 things began to unravel: First, her husband committed suicide by hanging himself at home (this was extra difficult for her to cope with since, in the early 90's while still actively in the business, her boy friend Cal Jammer shot himself to death). Next some high school thugs broke into the home of her son's grand parents and killed everyone including her 14 year old boy. While trying to recover from all that, early one morning she driving home legally drunk she went several miles the wrong direction on US 75 hitting a family head on killing a father and young son.

Convicted, as much for being a porn star and stripper as DWI, she is serving 10 years in Colorado State prison.

I know her to be smart and resourcful and literally pray things will eventually turn out well for her.

She is basically a strong person and not at all unintelligent so I suspect she will ultimately be OK.
