wondering if an adult performer has concerns about another performer can do they refuse to reform with someone. I assume they can but they face being black-list being difficult.

Women performers do it all the time. If they're established they can even refuse to work for certain directors. Just like they pick what types of sex acts they will or won't perform, they can decide who they will or won't shoot with.

No...means no.
..well..at least I think that no means no...that's what
I've always heard..and been told.....oh so many many times.
The always interesting and intriguing topic of performers
and their "No lists".
..know know...no no NO!

My 'no' list was so long that it was easier to make a 'yes' list. Seriously.

Having spent 10 months trying to "break in" as male talent, I'm curious to know why so many dudes made your "no list" Ginger. I may give it another go and I'm always looking for helpful hints. You're post seems really quite hostile A.I. What'sup with that?

Honestly, it didn't start out that way. I have/had 5 or 6 guys that I had good chemistry with, and worked well together with, and they never pushed any boundaries or limits with me. Oh...and they weren't gigantic. 98% of the time it was a size thing. I'm too small to work with most dudes in porn, so it was easier to have a list of people I could actually work with as opposed to listing every guy I couldn't.
And AI...hostile much? I feature dance far more often than I shoot, and I've never really given a crap if all the scenes I've been in are listed on random sites. If people find me they find me, if they don't, they don't. Being 'prolific' in the porno world is well...not a big priority for me most of the time. I don't delude myself into thinking it actually makes a difference in the grand scheme of things. (And so you know, more than half the things I've done have been for internet sites or I just get credited as 'Ginger', but I digress.)

Yes its called the 'no list'.
I remember seeing an interview with Julia Ann where the BTS guy asked her
who were her favorite guys to work with. She refused to answer the question.
When the guy asked why she said because whenever she answers that question
if those guys have girlfriends they get jealous and makes the guy add her
to their no list.

a "no list" is not a luxury most male talent can afford to have. But whether it's male or female talent we're talking about, publicly stating your favorite(s) is generally a bad idea, as it is bound to alienate anyone not named that you may have to work with. I can remember an interview from the 80s where Amber Lynn said as much. And she was talking about female performers.

There is also the exclusive 'yes list' (i.e. list of the guys she will ONLY work
with). This is more prevalent among contract stars working for the big
budget feature companies like Vivid, Wicked, VCA, and maybe Digital Playground.
Maybe that's why you always see the same ole guys in their movies which
gets really boring. I don't how many times Wicked used Randy Spears. DP seems
to use like the same three guys in all their movies also.
With a lot of other companies especially the gonzo guys who don't do expensive
setups and scheduling often the girl will show up and not know who she is doing
until she gets there. Sometimes people don't show up and the director will just
call up somebody to replace them. In those cases maybe the girl will just
decide to walk if she gets there and its somebody she hates.
A lot of times a girl will put a guy on her 'no list' not because he's an
asshole or ugly but simply because he has trouble performing. The longer he
takes to get it up and cum the longer she has to stay there.

I'm curious if this ever caused a problem for you. Did it make it harder for you to get work? Were you pressured to work with people you didn't want to? Sorry for the inquisition, but since I don't work in the biz, I'm curious about these situations.

A better question would be: Do the porn guys have no-lists? I'd put up with a girl's shit for 2-3hrs if she let me get in her pants. I don't think I'm alone here. lol

Mutley,it has never been a big deal. I work when I want, and don't when I don't want to. I've never sat around and starved or anything like that. Then again, I'd rather just not do a scene than do a scene and be miserable/uncomfortable.

Unless a guy is very well established, he can't really pick and choose. Working with women that are bitchy, hung over, possibly cracked/methed out, all pretty much standard hazzards of the job. Nothing like trying to get it up for a girl who would clearly rather be somewhere else.

Though Ginger kinda said it in her post, let's not forget the influence of the performers' bf or gf. The porn industry is filled with petty grudges and fights between performers. Often this will lead to the bf telling his lady she can't work with someone he's pissed at.
IMO having "no list" or "yes list" work if it relaxes the performer so she gives her best in a scene. Fucking in front of people is difficult enough, so anything to make it work better, has to be ok. And, under no circumstances should any performer be pressured to work with someone they don't want to work with.

more than half(60-70%) of white women in porn refuse to do scenes with blacks. so yes they can.

Zambi, I read somewhere where Randy Spears has a lifetime directing/producing/acting contract with Wicked. That may explain why he is in most of Wicked's movies.

Wow I thought you retired for some reason. Glad you didn't though cause I think you're super sexy.
Anyway, you had a very sexy scene with Mark Ashley at some point... I forget the name of the movie. He's definitely bigger, but seems to know what he's doing sexually. Was that a good scene for you or is he on the "no" list now?

^^How did I know that you'd chime in with such a tired and overdone generalization? I'm not going to even go down that road with you *again*, as I've explained more than once that it has nothing to do with the color of a male talent's skin. It serves no purpose.
Moving on....

It is warped...and is exactly why so much of porn produced in the last ten years has no "feeling" or chemistry between performers. Since fans/directors (for some reason) dislike real life couples fucking in porn, "friends-with-benefits" is the next best thing. Monique Alexander & Mr Marcus probably fall into this category, because they seem to be buds off set--but not romantically so.

It isn't a generalization nor overdone. It is entirely revelent to the op's question and germane to the topic. It is understandable that you might have grown weary of seeing the question posed, but to be dismissive of an issues that is important to a certain group of your fans is not conducive to good fan relations. It serve the purpose of fans getting to know you better in a professional sense. You decline to name the individuals on your "No list" for fear it would cause an uncomfortable working environment or hurt someones feeling? Then it's callous not to extend the same common courtesy to that person who is uncomfortable being a fan and are hurt because of your blanket refusal to work with those people who are his peers.

I've heard about her policy.
What's funny though is that the guy who tested positive recently is white, but does straight and the other kind of scenes, so girls that refuse to work with Blacks would rather work with this guy who does both kinds of scenes and because of that are now on the quarantine list.

What's up with "the other kinds of scenes" and not justr saying gay? Afraid you'll catch gay if you say it?

Did you just read ntfighter's comments? He explains it quite clearly why I have the right as a fan to post that comment. You can't escape racism and pretend it doesn't exist in the adult film industry
it's a subject that would go on forever until this industry deals with it head on. It's a question that Ginger Lee will never escape as long she's in the adult film industry and many other women black or white.

Very well said! She and others can't escape this and pretend fans don't notice this. When you been in the jizz business fucking and sucking and doing anything under the sun through your whole career and refuse to work with a certain color of skin it makes people wonder.

You act like no one can have preferences.. Some people are not attracted to black men but that doean't mean that they are racist. Maybe she is not attracted to black men (which is fine if that is her preference). Some people are not attracted to certain types of people whether those people are- too skinny, too overweight, asian, russian, etc.... It is all the same! Respect other peoples preferences cause I'm sure you have yours!

Agreed.
Preferences are fine, but it's not about attraction when they do scenes with any male of any age or any race but Black.

I agree these girls are racist. So what? You would like to see them have sex with someone they hate?
Of course you would! That's your fantasy, right? Which makes you a bigger creep than the racist.

I am beyond weary of the racist accusations. We don't invite performers to participate here so you can harass them. You can take your soapbox somewhere else. This is a community discussion forum.
ntfighter, I don't remember you getting as many warnings as Chi-Bear. Hopefully, you will take this warning. If you're not a fan of a performer, fine. That doesn't give you the right to lecture her. Enough.
