The simple answer is yes. As much as anyone else can. It ALL depends on the individuals involved. I think for most porn stars its a means to an end. It's a job. They key for the non porn partner is to be able to deal with issues of confidence and self esteem. If you are confidant and have high self esteem. I can't imagine why it wouldn't work if you're both committed to it.
Thanks a lot for your input, even my view is quite similar. Why can't we respect a girl who works in porn industry, why people feel worst about them when it comes to relationship. If you don't respect your girl or you don't trust her; really you don't deserve her this is what I feel. My prime concern is society, if I would be in this situation how would I make the society understand that we are not sex maniac, we are as normal as others??

That is going to be a tougher sell, to society that is. The way I love, I would not care what other people think. Still, there are many people who have a lot of bias against porn that's their right, but they should not judge your relationship. Think of all the people who go to church every day, work at some "respectable" job, and do PTA ect. Some of those people go home to physical abuse, drug or alcohol abuse, or they abuse others. What makes them any better than anyone else? You are who you are. I used to be a cop and I was often judge because of it, but I didn't care. The people you want in your life will not judge you, they will accept you and your relationship. Those that judge or can't accept who you love should be deleted from your life.
I suppose the question is not so much can they make a good life partner, but is it possible to have them as a partner in the first place? Louis Theroux: Twilight of the Porn Stars If you get the chance to see the above documentary, Tommy Gunn gives an interesting perspective on the whole love/romance thing as a (lonely) working adult performer.
She would this is what I feel now. If you guys read the old books on sex you would come to know that it is not at all a sinful act to be involve with multiple partner, it is in turn a natural way of staying healthy so probably she would be more fit than you and a passionate lover.
A normal girl doesn't fuck strangers for a living or have anal (the majority) or get gangbanged. If you think a person is the same after making porn scenes (not with just a boyfriend for home use) you're under thinking it. A girl/guy doing scenes for mass distribution is not the same. Don't get me wrong, I love the porn girls and I'd sleep with most of them but would I date/marry one? Negative.
It might just be awkward wording on your part, but I object to this. Individuals are not "used", they are much more complex than deserving that label. What you're describing that you want sounds more like a fetish to me. If you think having such a partner is exciting in itself, then its about the fact that she did porn, not about her as an individual. I doubt she would appreciate that fact. And to the original question: Yes. But most won't be. Like most random people won't for any of us.
No it seems you got me wrong, all I wanted to say was I would prefer to be with someone whom I would respect as an individual and she would help me to be a cuck. I personally don't like cuck torture just she should have multiple partner which would in turn be a big turn on for me.
I think it depends on the personalities of the people involved. I don't think I personally could handle have a woman who was in porn but you never know until you encounter the situation.
How or what is so difficult about being with someone in the adult industry? Honestly the hollywood mainstream entertainers are way more scandalous than these adult entertainers. It just depends on what type of individual your involved with. I personally wouldn't mind knowing i got someone who you buffer yourselves i'm dating! Would be very exciting!
It depends - sex workers are more likely to have problems with drugs and broken childhoods; not all, not most, but more than the general population. You might have a huge fantasy about a porn goddess, but are you prepared to be supportive and understanding of her in real life with the work she does and the possible emotional swings that might arise from her situation/background? It takes a lot of self-esteem to be with someone who has sex for money, and the insecurities of the non-pro partner can be just as poisonous to the relationship as effects of the other's proclivities. Oftentimes jealousy and doubt might make you feel like your partner is not faithful or loving to you, even when she is. The other big issue is the expectation for your partner to be a wildcat in bed ALL THE TIME... especially in the beginning of a relationship, the sex can be outrageously awesome - but as time progresses, like all women, she will want to not be a 24/7 fucktoy. This can be tough when she comes home from a bad workday experience - she might not want to have sex for a while... it takes some guts to acknowledge the fact that she might not be having sex with you because she's still recovering from bad sex in her professional life... and not to take that personally as a slight against your manhood. In the end, they are women who just choose to have sex for money. They have to live with the stigma of being a whore and a slut to most other women and men. Likewise, you'll have to live with other people thinking you are a cuckold and a "beta". Most of the haters are sorry losers who are lacking in their own lives, but it's not always easy to see that when you are on the receiving end of the hate.
@properM it depends on the way you define your manhood. In my way it is like letting her grab whatever she craves for and this is what I call manhood. If she craves for a job which includes having sex with other professional then you must know she is doing it as her job and enjoying it; it is completely different than what she does with you. You must understand her completely and help her to fulfill her needs.

if we can give a simple answer to this question, thinking of propabilities, we would say yes. A porn star is beyond everything else a woman and most women want to create families, make children and live a nice happy life with their partner. Yes, sex is a basic reason for a succesful relation, but women unlike men think differently. You dont need to set up a gang bang to satisfy a woman. Women are more mental beings than us men and believe me if you know how to treat them, even a few words are enough to make them cum... (Trust me for this). The problem is on our side. Is not the porn folks, but the "name" the star made in the business. The truth is that is not easy for a man to have a wife with a "dirty" past. However if there is a true love between them and if the man is very open minded everything is possible.
My wife wasn't a porn *star* exactly, but she worked in the industry and appeared in a few movies, what with her being the sexually adventurous type (this was back in the 80's). We've been married for 12 years and it has been GREAT. We have one kid and another on the way and our relationship just keeps getting better and better. The fact that she was in porn never put me off. I still remember when we were on our second date and she mentioned it, just to get it out there, and how relieved she was that it was a non-issue for me. I was just curious! "Is that as much fun as it looks?" I asked. "Well, it's sex," she replied, "Even when it's bad it's still pretty good." ;)
I am a better life partner now, after 14 years in adult entertainment, than I was during the nine years of my first marriage. Much, Much, Much better...

^^ Bryan, are you comfortable sharing her stage name at the time? If not, no worries. I'm an aficionado of 80s porn, that's why I ask.
Case in point: Francesca Le and Mark Wood. Also, take a look at this article: http://www.details.com/sex-relationships/porn-and-perversions/200808/what-if-your-wife-were-a-porn-star
Yes...it depends on the commitment and dedication of those involved. The civilian half would have to Be OK with watching or know that their pornstar half is being paid by a director or producer to perform a variety of sex acts on film ranging from bdsm style films to full on hardcore fucking and sucking. My wife and I are swingers...essentially living a life similar to a pornstar...we are dedicated and fully into each other and committed to one another...yet it does not bother me to watch my wife fuck another man or know she is in another room fucking another man or woman. She also has no problem knowing or watching me fuck another female. We are honest and up front and know about every sexual escapade...we agreed as long as we were honest that we could swing...I think if a pornstar is honest with her other half that it would I crease the chances of it working out in the long run.
Yes Porn Star can also be a good life partner in my view because he or she is porn star by his profession but as a human we don't know him so in my view one cannot comment until and unless we know them by their nature/humanity/personality... This is Maria and I love reading about escorts.I mostly follow http://blog.escortmat.com/
If I could just get past the girl's past - to wit, 300 guys and 150 girls before she ever shot a scene in the industry - I feel like Sasha Knox would make a good girlfriend or wife. She's such a sweetheart. That's not to say that a pornstar can't be sweet, but that it would be up to me to overlook her history which makes mine look like a joke.
A lot of guys say they could but the simple truth is most guys are too insecure to be able to handle his girl being banged to death every day for work. Personally? I am 99.9% certain I can handle it because I'm not insecure about jack shit. I don't give a fuck about fuck all. She may be fucking for work, but she's coming home and settling down to watch TV with me at the end of the night and sleep in my bed. Just as long as I get to creep up the butthole every once in a while.
Me and the wife have played around a bit. She has tried a couple bbcs while I watched and allowed me to play with whoever i wanted. We tried it, had some threesomes, and enjoyed it for the most part. We're still very much in love and she's actually not into that stuff anymore. We still have incredible sex and live normal lives. I don't see how a porn store having a lot of sex couldn't be a life partner. Maybe it would require a certain type of guy but its still possible.

good or bad life partners have little to do with anyone's chosen career. We all have met or dated people who would be absolute nightmares as life partners and they didn't do porn. It is a challenge in the sense you have to accept your partner fucking all day and coming home and being secure with that. An insecure partner can destroy things quite fast which is one of the reasons why porn performers have a tough time with civilians while they are active. Let's say you are a boyfriend and your love gets DP'd hard and comes home and wants to cuddle and not fuck because she is tired.... a lot of guys can not handle that and would get jealous or pissy (just one scenario that can be hard on the relationship).
^ Not just with civilians. Even porn star partners struggle with discomfort. Manuel Ferrara of all people asked that Kayden Kross stop performing with men. My friend who is a full service sex worker had a difficult time with her boyfriend. He was quite unpleasant about her work even though he knew what she did before they got together. He would also live off her earnings. She quit sex work on his behalf but then once the bills started coming in and he refused to work, he dropped hints that maybe she should take some bookings again. They broke up soon after that. There is no doubt that due to the way society views sex, relationships, and sex work, having a sex worker for a partner would require some emotional work and good communication and boundaries. That does not mean a porn star or sex worker cannot be a good life partner.
and what if you' re waiting for her to come home to you and your tv but instead she's going to some private party to suck some dicks? or it's another jack shit you're not insecure about at all?
