An obvious first step was checking for movies produced by VCA pictures that starred Traci Lords. Surprisingly, there weren't many and when looking at the stars and descriptions of each, none of them matched. Because the clip was from a mainstream release, I searched for it on IMDB and found it there. They listed most of the cast and Sunset Thomas was among those. Thanks to the IMDB listing I was able to identify Sunset though they didn't list the redhead. This was a breakthrough. I then went back to IAFD figuring it would be easy to find movies that had both Traci and Sunset in them, but I was surprised to see that there are no records of them ever appearing in the same film. The next step was searching for movies produced by VCA Pictures with Sunset Thomas. There were a lot of those but IAFD made the search relatively easy because they list scene pairings. If Sunset was only in a B/G scene, that eliminated the movie. If she was listed as being in a B/G/G scene or a B/G scene, I did a deeper dive. It didn't take long to identify the redhead and the movie title after that. The big thing that threw me off at the start was crediting that scene to VCA Pictures and thinking there was some connection to Traci Lords when there wasn't. That scene is from a movie that has nothing to do with Traci. Anyway, I'm glad I could help solve a mystery for you. BTW - welcome to ADT. [Link] |
