This shows the back of the unit, and a textual description that includes:
RCA A/V Output: Yes
So it would seem that if the playback signal is available through the RCA A/V output, you simply run cables to your L1 or L2 inputs on the DVD recorder.
It is possible though that the DVD recorder may not be able to accept the signal due to CPRM technology, which is part of the signal which allows for DVR playback but disables recording.
Note that although there is YPbPr output, I don't know of any DVD recorder that supports that as input (instead only as output as part of a pre-recorded DVD playback).
