It is possible though that the DVD recorder may not be able to accept the signal due to CPRM technology, which is part of the signal which allows for DVR playback but disables recording. Note that although there is YPbPr output, I don't know of any DVD recorder that supports that as input (instead only as output as part of a pre-recorded DVD playback). |
