Hey, guys
For the Cannucks out there: have any of you ordered adult DVDs from the US & got them through Canadian customs without any trouble? I'm thinking of getting stuff from the US but afraid the videos won't clear customs.

Thanks guys.

I had one tape confiscated about 2 years ago because it had a scene where John Holmes smacked a girl around with a gun and had rough sex with her. I get all my dvd's here in Canada uncut at http://www.dv-depot.com
I'd rather pay a little bit more than hassle around with customs and lose my movies alltogether

I can give you the flip side. I have sold auctions on ebay to Canadians and shipped to them many times. So far none of them has informed me of any confiscation hassles.

I recently learned a "trick" when ordering from outside Canada. Try to get the supplier to label the value of (whatever it is) as being under $20. Apparently, things only "normally" get held up at customs (and then you also get charged custom fees) if the package is valued at over $20. Since I found this out, I've had no problem in terms of shipping speed or extra expenses (aside from the exchange) when ordering anything, whatever it is, from the States. I would assume that this kind of faster crossing would also help minimize problems with "questionable" material too.
