Just wanted to see what any of you could teach me on the subject. You see, certain porns that are widely available in the USA are considered "obscene" in Canada, and their import is illegal. I talked to Canada customs, and they confirmed this. They have a checklist and they prohibit anything to cross the US-Canada border that is described on the checklist. Anyway, what is completely retarded about this is they don't allow importation of movies that are already here. For example: Taboo 1-4 are available in the Canadian Chain "AOV" and they can be ordered on the internet from Canadian distributors. However, once a single consumer attempts to purchase one of these titles from an American distributor, they are charged with importation of obscene materials. Don't ask me how Canadian companies get ahold of large quantities of these films to distribute, but my beef is that the Canadian government seems to be picking on the single consumer's rights to buy pornography.
