I typically sign up for a site for a month, download the few i care about, cancel and move on. A few I have gone back to after some time to download anything new.
I find cancelling is usually tricky, and I have to call or do live chat.
Here is what recently happened with EPOCH.
They require 2 of 4 things, email, customer ID, screen name, or credit card number. First I tried screen name and email, this didn't work. So then I checked my email for a customer ID (this confirmed I Was using the correct porn email account i have). I got the customer ID.
I found that the customer ID, and screen name would work, but nothing with the email would work (I never tried the credit card number)
I decided not to cancel, and wrote down, in RED ink, that I need to use the customer ID and screen name.
Today, I went to cancel. Those two didn't work, but instead, customer ID and email worked. Then I cancelled.
Its almost as if they want to make it difficult for you to cancel, so they make it randomly change which of the two things it will accept.
Anyone else have something similar ?
