Anyone owns one ? If so, how is it ? Any good ?

I'm considering buying a camera, and wondered if that's any good since it doesn't look all that bad from the specs and stuff. And the price doesn't seem bad either.

And if someone owns something else that is recommendable for a reasonable price, might wanna suggest it to me.

Thanks !
David

Recommendations - it depends what you mean by "reasonable price" :]

Are you willing to spend 800$?

800$US... that's about 1200$CAD... that's a lot I'd say. I have the money, but I wouldn't put that much into a camera. Probably more in the 300-500$US range. Not like I'm a professional or anything. Just something worth my money for frequent use.

In the under-US$500 range, I'd look at some of the models from Olympus. Check out dpreview.com ~ GS

As GS says, check dpreview.com. There is a new under-500 USD camera from Minolta: Dimage Z3. It's an awesome camera! Keep an eye on it, and read about it in the dpreview.com forum. I can give you direct links if you can't find a way.
