I have the lastest java update but whenever i click on the connect button it nevers connects to the chat room.

We're using another IRC network now. I've talked to Drew about switching the ADT chat link to it but I think he's been busy.
If you used to log in from the ADT website link, use http://webchat.esper.net. Enter your nickname and #adt for the channel.
If you are using an IRC client (software) such as mIRC to connect, use irc.esper.net room name #adt

"You can also connect to our chat server with an IRC chat client such as mIRC. The server name is irc.adultdvdtalk.com:6667. The room name is #adt."
It should now be irc.esper.net and #adt
