I know the Kaylani Lie scene from that blue ray was filmed not much sooner than mid march. Though Im sure its very possible those scenes for a dvd or blu ray arent filmed in the same time period. Either way if she is planning to retire it is a very recent thing. Its very possible as you say that she is thinking about it. But we have heard rumors of this long before - and then her first IR came out. Could be that she is trying to get out but isnt getting out as soon as she would like.
Oh, and while it may be true in general that they sit on scenes for months or even years - would they really sit on something as rare as an IR gangbang for six months??
