Captain Jack All-Star Member 5092 Posts 12/09	Posted - Jan 26 2025 : 5:29PM Another Adult Entertainment Expo has come and gone and it was a very memorable event! They came back to the Virgin Hotels where it used to be held (albeit it used to be the Hard Rock Hotel). It was held in 2 halls, the main hall were all the big companies were (Jules Jordan, Brazzers, Ricky's Room, etc) and Agave Hall which was expanded and held all the agencies and the smaller booths. The lighting was much better and I thought the layout worked well. However, not all was well at the Expo. The security at the hotel was ridiculous! They were like the purity police and were making girls that were signing leave their booths to go up to their rooms to change. And no one was showing nudity, we've all been through this rodeo enough times to know what was allowed but this year things were different. If a girls was wearing a sheer bra with pasties on, they made them leave to put on a more conservative top. If they were showing underboob, you were out. If you were in a g-string, go change. It just pissed everyone off. They blamed it on the Nevada gaming commission but it was never an issue before. One example, Anna Claire Clouds was signing at the Jules Jordan booth, she was wearing a g-string but with a mesh skirt on. It was sexy but not a big deal. She had to leave to change, leaving about 10-15 people in line. Then, when she came back, she was taking pictures with fans and told one guy to put his hands on her ass. Security was right on top of it, "WATCH YOUR HANDS! WATCH YOUR HANDS! WATCH YOUR HANDS!" By Thursday and Friday, some girls were wearing clothes like they were about to go to church. Other than that, the Expo was fun. If you were looking up while you were walking around, you would be able to see some performers that were walking around. Honey Gold, Lily Labeau, Katrina Colt, Charlie Forde, Lilly Bell, Zac Wild, Veronica Avluv, Brad Newman and Laney Grey were among the people I talked to just on the show floor. Captain Jack All-Star Member 5092 Posts 12/09	Posted - Feb 5 2025 : 10:07PM Since I can't post pictures, I'll post about the show. I got in Tuesday night and explored the Virgin hotel. To me, it wasn't much different than the Hard Rock. They did a little remodeling but nothing extensive. I saw Mark Spiegler and Gal Ritchie right when I walked in and talked to them briefly. Then, on the way to the bar, I saw James Bartholet and talked to him for a bit. At the bar, I talked to some guys who were in town for a concrete convention. Then, new girl Bambi Blitz sat down next to me and we chatted for about a half hour. It was nice to just relax and have a few beers. Wednesday, I got my credentials then I told Sage Hunter that I would help her when she got into town. She checked into her room and I helped her a bit with all the merchandise she had for sale. Sage is a great girl and sexy as fuck. It was fun getting to know her on a personal basis. Once the show started, I spent most of the first 2 hours just talking to people that I hadn't seen in a year. Agents, PR People, some performers, other media, all had nice words to say and we caught up a little bit. Then I got in picture taking mode and started taking pictures and doing some interviews. The first day, I interviewed Jayne Doh, Amber Moore and Bubblez Bankz. Thursday came quickly and the crowds were even bigger. It was a busy day but it was great seeing so many people. I recently started talking to Brazzers (thanks Bono!) and I texted them to set up some interviews. Personally, I hate standing in line and then asking a girl for an interview. I don't think it's fair to the fans behind me who've been waiting to talk to a certain girl. Other people have no problem doing that. Which brings me up to a rant. Anyone with a YouTube page can get press credentials it seems. I know they want as much publicity as they can get but some of these guys don't belong behind a microphone. I even had a couple girls tell me some YouTubers were rude and asked terrible questions. They were pissed after talking to them. But they can't stop mid-interview or they'll cut it in a way where the girls look bad. End rant. Anyways, Brazzers let me get on their stage and interview a few people after their shifts. Anna Claire Clouds was a highlight of the day and I just posted about it in her thread. I took a ton of pictures and interviewed Abby Rose, Rylee Blake, Venus Rivers, Stevie Moon, Gal Ritchie, Kayley Gunner and Scott Nails. Friday, as expected, it was really crowded. The lines were long but everyone, for the most part, was in a good move. I had a great time meeting some girls that I talked to over the past year and meeting other girls for hopefully some opportunities down the line. A highlight in the late afternoon was that I received a text from Cherry Kiss. She said she had something for me and wanted to meet. She wasn't at the show but at the Italian restaurant so I booked it over there to join her for lunch. She is such a sweet girl. We talked about everything under the sun and had a good time. I went back to the show and wrapped things up because I was leaving on Saturday morning. I interviewed Zoey Uso and Ebony Mystique. It was a lot of walking around and my legs were sore each night but it was a fun time. I always look forward to AVN. As I posted on Twitter, I'm here in the Midwest and just do my thing. I don't know who or if anyone reads my stuff. But when I get to a convention, I have people coming up to me that I've never met before to introduce themselves and have long talks with old friends. Kind of like going to a beer fest. Yes, drinking all the different beers is great. And what I'm largely there for. But it's a treat when I can spend a minute or two talking to the brewers and the owners about their successes (and occasional failures) and their plans for the future, i.e., the human connection.
