Release of the year: Angela 2 - masterful. Blew my expectations out of the water Director: Mason - still the best at getting great performances out of her talent. People love working for Mason, and it shows Studio: Evil Angel - they just have so much variety it's tough to compete with them Welcome back: Ryan Conner - holy shit, what a comeback! Keri Sable award: Staci Carr - she left a huge impression on people. Anyone who saw her was blown away Manuel Ferrara award: Prince Yahshua - killin' it for many studios. But in the interests of being sociable, I’ll get over that and participate. I didn’t weigh in on all of the topics. But apart from all of that, they consistently produce some of the best porn available. MANUEL FERRARA AWARD I’d just give this to Manuel as you suggested and leave it at that. James Deen deserves to be on your list but for the wrong reasons. Kudos for adding him, though others will disagree. There was some very good sex in these releases, which, after all, is what this is all about. I loved the showcases, Adriana, Angelea, Carter, Karmen, Riley....all top notch disks. The gonzo releases, # My Ass, All Stuffed Up, Anal Cuties 3, Anal Young 'Uns 2 and Butthole Whores were all fantastic. Emma Marx is the continuation of a masterpiece by Jacky St. James. But the disk I chose as my disk of the year was Being Riley as directed by Greg Lansky for Tushy. This combined elements of all three. It was a showcase for Riley with hot gonzo sex and it even had a storyline which mirrored Riley's coming of age in the adult industry. The camerawork was terrific and the acting, especially by Riley and Aidra Fox, was superb. And then you have Riley doing her first anal, her first DP and her first IR anal. That was enough to whet anyone's appetite. Just a fantastic disk from beginning to end and Riley, Greg and Tushy, in their debut release, should all be very proud! And by the end of the year, Mason was working on another genre, IR, for DarkX. But it is her HardX releases which clinched this award for her. Other directors emulate her but there is only one Mason.

Jillian, Aidra and Sara are just beginning their careers and more honors are ahead of them. But I thought the 2015 award came down to two women: Carter Cruise and Adriana Chechik These two sexy babes dominated the year. Both had 3 showcase movies (Carter with Carter Cruise: Wide Open, All Access: Carter Cruise and Carter Cruise: Obsession and Adriana with Adriana's A Slut, Adriana Chechik: The Ultimate Slut and The Turning, in which she was in every scene). Both had large acting roles. Both had outstanding gonzo scenes. Both did some hot anal and both did lesbian scenes and IR. They are both well rounded and I've been going back and forth on this one for a while now. I think I'm the only reviewer that has his own awards. I think others might be afraid to take a stand, lol. To the person who said Manuel would be ashamed that James Deen was nominated for his award. Manuel talked to me personally and thanked me for honoring him in this way. I will keep them going next January.
Gabriel Lan over at IAFD.com has his own unilateral awards. It's a little bizarre for me to consider actually since people may think the group at IAFD.com is doing the voting.
The Captain Jack Off Awards aren't decided by a vote either: if it was, and based upon the 'voting' in this thread, 'MILF' of the Year (Kay Parker Award) would have been Ava Addams - the Catain Jack Off winner was Kendra Lust; and the FPOTY (Tori Black Award) would have been a three-way tie between Adriana Chechik, Riley Reid and Sara Luvv - Captain Jack decided (erroneously in my opinion) to give it to Ms Chechik.
