Due to personal reasons, I cut my trip short this week but it was still very busy and very tiring! I loved having it all in one hall. It was much more convenient and I think everyone was happy with how it was laid out! The only negatives that I can relay is that there were no bathrooms anywhere nearby (although a girl told me about a secret restroom that some people were using) and it was very warm in the hall. Next year, if it's in the same venue, I'm wearing shorts. Friday was the busiest I think I've ever seen it and I've been going for 10 years. Of course, that may be the result of having every booth in one hall so everyone was stuffed into the same place. I thought security was good. There was a line for industry and a line for fans and the fan line was packed and went on forever when the doors opened. For me personally, they let the media go through the media entrance which was nice because I had a couple of interviews before the show even started. Some girls told me security cracked down on them to cover up but that's the only negatives I heard. Speaking of interviews, AVN has to somehow control people who do interviews on the show floor. They set up in the middle of the aisles with tons of people around them and everyone had to either stop and wait or just turn around and find another row. On Friday, the previously mentioned busy day, someone set up a camera and was interviewing a random girl right by the Brazzers booth, which was already very busy. It was impossible to get through. The drink prices were outrageous. At one point, I went to get a water and the bartender said I didn't want to buy it from him. I asked, "Why? Is it warm?" And he held it up and it was smaller than my phone! For $9.50!!!!! He directed me to a lounge where you could relax with free water and coffee. I made it a point to go there frequently to grab some water. Evil Angel was also celebrating Jonni Darkko's 20-year anniversary and asked me for a quote. I didn't think I'd be featured so prominently!
