I just bopped over to Five Star and they had this new dvd featured on the main page... looks hot but I cant find any reviews, VHS or DVD. Supposedly its got a 90 minute behind the scenes feature?! Can this be? Its from Ultimate, who gave us the barebones Dinner Party and Elements of Desire. Anyone got any info on this title? Anyhoo, Five Star's got it for 15 bucks... might have to pick it up sight/review unseen!

This is yet another title that I have on order so that I can write a review on it. It's supposedly got some nice DVD extras, but I'm the toughest critic of extras there is, so we'll see how it lives up, especially given Ultimate's weak releases in the past.
I did see this movie on VHS last month, and I found it to be a very high budget, nice looking couple's type of film, filmed on location in St. Maarten. The plot is completely forgettable, but the scenery and the performers are quite watchable.
I wasn't particularly impressed by Tera Patrick's performance as she's not really that expressive, just there for the scenes. But the others are your typical Eurobabes, so there are other destinations if Tera isn't your ideal getaway, so to speak.
At $14.95, I would say, based on the VHS version, that it would be a pretty safe pick, even though I haven't watched the DVD yet. But don't hold me to that...

so what's the deal with 5 Star's exclusivity on this? Since they don't ship to where I live, I'd like to price match their title with another site, but so far haven't seen anyone else carrying this one

I believe it's a limited-time exclusive. five_star was in the [url=1531]ADT Chat Room</A the other night, and I asked him that same question. He said that Five Star was able to work out a deal so that they got a shipment directly from duplication, even before the studio did.
You should see this title available at other stores that carry Ultimate titles within a week or so.

Just pulled this one out of the mailbox! Whoo hooo! Thanks Five Star! Gonna wait for the girlfriend to get home to crack it open though just in case she wants to watch it too. Back cover looks great... previews, DD 5.1 sound, photo gallery, and a 90 minute behind the scenes feature! And what they call a "Hotshot Button". "When you're ready, go right to the climax!" Pretty nifty. I'll let you guys know what I think!
