I inadvertently found myself wanting to read more of what she has written and wound up on her blog page which has plenty more articles to get wrapped up in. Especially her first two paragraphs but she sort of loses me in the third paragraph. Let me first say that I don't think porn performers are stupid but some of their actions can definitely be called stupid so if some of them do these often enough than at some point people will think that they are stupid regardless that they aren't. Now as to the reason why she lost me in the third paragraphs is because she says that she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in film production from the University of Florida. Is that true or an exaggeration? I really don't know but I checked the website for the U of F and the only place I saw any mention of film production is in regards to undergraduate or graduate programs associated with their English department. Maybe someone knows this but how long is an undergraduate or graduate program? Is it less than 4 years? IAFD says that Casey started when she was 22 so if the program was 4 years than she would have gone to university at 18 and graduated with high honors the same year she started doing porn. Let's say for argument sake that everything she wrote is what happened. Why would a young woman who just spent large sums of money (I'm guessing it is based on the news) in getting a degree in film production decide to do porn instead of seeking some type of employment where her degree will serve her better than having sex with strangers? The technical name for the degree I got is Telecommunication-Production. It is in the Journalism and Communications college. No one knows what "Telecommunication-Production" means so the editors changed it to "Film Production" in the article. If you look at my bio on HuffPost it says the correct name of my degree. I have a B.S. which is a 4 year program. I did graduate and start doing porn in the same year. I graduated in May of 2012 and shot my first porn scene in November. Also, the very short story of the reason why I decided to do porn instead of getting a mainstream film job was because I was fetish modeling while I was still in college, and the world of adult called to me more than the mainstream production world did. My decision to do porn had absolutely nothing to do with finances. I didn't spend a dime of my (or my parents) money on college, and I didn't take out any student loans. I had a full academic scholarship to UF, and also received smaller athletic scholarships. The reason why I decided to attend UF over a more prestigious private university (the only other school I applied to, and got accepted to) was because I did not want to graduate in debt. And although the private university offered me a significant academic scholarship, I still would have had to get loans, which I didn't want to do (and which I probably would have had a very hard time doing, because of my family's economic status). She plays the dom role so naturally and convincingly, you can just tell how much she is into the scene. Technically speaking, it was a very well shot scene with great lighting, vivid colours amd ultra-graphic close-ups galore, capturing every detail - mostly of their assholes, praise the lord - without overdoing it.
