Why would they call it Casting X 51 in Europe and Hustler's Casting Couch in the US? It's the same movie for sure because I also checked the boxcover so why two different titles and are all scenes in it 100% the same or are the DAP and stuff like that cut in the US version (like Hustler did with some Superfuckers volumes).

Ramsey, Mark will probably have a (more profound) comment when he reads this. But some quick words: I saw the euroversion and read this review of the US version- it's the same. Well, obviously one scene is not mentioned in the review because the interview doesnt't lead to sex. I think the explanation for calling it Casting X 51 in Europe and CC in US is because the series was well established here and it's very similar to Private Castings while Superfuckers, Private Castings were hardly available in the US. Ah, I have to disappoint you: I don't remember hard stuff (DAP,...)
My impression is that things are happening between Hustler and Pierre. Or to PW. Superfuckers is no longer a Hustler title. Not to mention the edited dap fiasco. Casting Couch comes out in Europe as Castings 51 (probably because Pierre owns the rights to the name). In the latest Hot Vidéo, PW's pictorial is credited to Tanawood (!!). And what happened to the movie shot in South Africa almost a year ago?
No. In an other forum someone posted the news of Pierre moving to Elegant Angel and Axel Braun replied that it was a hoax. I thought that the new director was Patrick Handsome (Hervé Bodilis). I asked Tristan Seagal, but he told me that Patrick is still with Hustler and Dorcel.
Pierre's photosets are hard to find these days, since there hasn't been a new Barely Legal Hardcore or Top Models X in ages. I know that he's not mr. popularity as a human being, but he has lots of loyal fans (like myself).
If only we could get Pierre Woodman himself here to answer a few questions for us.
Speaking of Woodman photosets; I stopped buying the 4 Private magazines after they stopped using his photosets. Woodman's pics was the only reason why I bought those magazines. The same actually goes for Private movies, no Woodman no Private for me!
We allowed our European distributor to continue to call it Castings, as the series is so well known in Europe. In retrospect, it may have been the wrong judgement call to make. Our intentions were good, as we wanted customers to have some continuity, but it has probably created as manty problems as it solved.
Hustler Casting Couch #1 in the U.S is Castings X #51 in Europe.
Thanks for the info, so I guess Hustler Casting Couch #2 is actually Castings X #52 and so on. In that case I will buy the European version.
Personally I think you should have gone with just one title for every country because now people are getting confused and you can imagine what this does to databases like the IAFD and Eurobabeindex ;-)
