Could you explain the criteria for the last 5 categories? It's not obvious what separates a debutante from a next star to a starlet. Or a special star from a star or a siren.

Award is for the newbie of the year. Star of Year...........Tori Black wins in a very close race. Bobbi Starr a very close runner-up. Award is for Star of the year. Performer of Year......Bobbi Starr wins this easily. One of my all-time favorites! Award is for Star with the most reviews of the year. Contract Star of Year..Alexis Ford is my surprise pick. She is flat out hot! Kayden Kross is runner-up. aka as Most Valuable Pussy (MVP). MILF of Year...........India Summer is due! Could have won before. Anjanette Astoria is excellent in River Road. MILF -or- Cougar of the Year. Unsung Star of Year....Charley Chase is flat out hot and very much deserves a trophy! (Hate the Title!). Should have won an award in the past. Siren of Year..........Andy San Dimas has had an outstanding year and very much deserves a trophy! Siren is the sultry gal that takes control of you. Hottie of Year.........Gracie Glam has to be in Top Ten of the Year. Very happy to send her a trophy. Super hottie that you just can't get enough of. Debutante of Year......Lily Carter is another Starlet that should win her fair share of Newbies trophies. The girl next door, shy, demur and hot! Next Star of Year......Lily LaBeau is a good actress as well as being a real hottie. Already has some major roles under her belt. Rog calls this the Next Big Star! Special Star of Year...Heather Starlet. Yes, it is about time I picked a Dayton, Oh winner! In general very good selections. Also a huge fan of Bobbi, Gracie and Lily Carter. Lily Labeau is great and also a sweetheart which adds to her appeal. I try very hard to never say anything bad about any of the girls that participate in the industry that we love but Chanel does appear to have a very aloof attitude towards her fans and I suspect that will come back to haunt her. It has certainly put me off buying anythig that she is in and because of this I would not have selected her as best "New Starlet" Just my 2c worth.

If I have misjudged you Chanel I offer my sincerest apologies. I do chat on a regular basis with many of the girls in the industry and realise only too well just how many creepy guys are out there trying to communicate with them and it does sometimes pay to be cautious. Sadly many of those guys find their way onto this forum as well. I think we should all encourage Den to keep CAVR and the awards alive for next year. Most of these things are bullshit popularity contests that only exist to pump up some lame website or magazine. CAVR is the educated perspective of a veteran porn fan who really cares. Anyway, great job as always Den.
