Most seem to be outraged that they've been burnt, now that they've departed with their 40 bucks and are left with 3 minutes worth footage looped into making a full length movie they were probably better off with getting a real porn film. LMFAO! I don't make a habit of watching celebrity sex tapes because I know they going to be pretty bad. However I saw this latest sex tape with Kim Kardashian at my brothers house yesterday and was pretty unimpressed. It made me think though, am I sucker for good marketing tactics. the day before yesterday i didn't even know who she was, are celebrity sex tapes a tool to create a greater sense of public awareness? I mean it worked for Paris Hilton. on the back of a sex tape has managed to create a career for herself? Would she still have a television series, autobiographical book and a certified gold album and ect without the tape? Its not all good though, On the other hand Dustin Diamond has faded into obscurity, i don't see him with any book deals. If Paris planned the whole thing wouldn't it be a success in marketing genius or was it just opportunistic behaviour, taking advantage of a bad situation. I personally don't think she's that smart but is she that dumb? Are quasi celebrities seeing a sex tape as a way of launching their careers and how long will this trend last? I got an interesting scenario for you the first "porn celebrity sex tape", something along the lines like House of Ass or Chemistry, wouldn't that blur the lines between reality and the hyper reality that pornography creates, mind fuck! would you be watching porn or someone's homemade sex tape?
