hey there. anyone else bummed out by the sheer audacity of 'sineplex' blurring out stuff in their movies and telling folks to check the uncensored scene out on like nacho's site? even if it's for legal reasons. i mean they could still just cut the footage, right? by blurring out stuff they actually advertise by pissing fans off. am i the only one getting worked up about this? what are your thoughts?
I think it's especially dubious that they choose to "censor" themselves in this way, but then use the opportunity to eke further $$$ out of the punters on a website.
If they haven't got the courage to take the risk of showing the uncensored footage, they should leave it out. It might be the pragmatic option, avoiding any legal hassles, but when the viewers have to pay more to see the footage, with no guarantee that it's worth paying for anyway, then I find it hard to swallow.
I also find no logic in what's considered acceptable - a baseball bat in the ass is OK, but another person's hand is not???

Hi All,
There is a Playboy Juli Ashton DVD doing the rounds which is totally CENSORED.
It often finds a place among the hard stuff but it's completely soft-core.
The title is: "JULI ASHTON AND FRIENDS: ANYTHING GOES."
I hope they won't do it too much, but every now and then it doesn't bother me, because, for example, in No Limits 2 it was apparently a spontaneous act, not one planned in advance. I knew that Sophia Marquez was a crazy girl, but now I know she enjoys getting fisted, which increases my admiration for her sexual talents. And for a later scene, I knew Nicol was rather shy, but after seeing her give Lara her fist, I have a new respect for her willingness to get into her scenes.
So they are censoring their movies on purpose to they can make money trough their website. Pretty low. They won't get my business because I want to see it all because I already paid for the DVD.
..what I don't get is this: in my local videoshops I see many Videorama videos with girls beeing fisted on the cover and in the actual video without any censorship but other porn companies like Sineplex won dare to do the same. why? ...both videos are beeing sold in the same places after all!
...because for every store that is willing to stock titles containing fisting, there are a couple of hundred who won't sell that title. If Sineplex were to limit their US distribution to stores that were willing to risk local prosecution, they would probably already be out of business.
Hi,No you are not the only one :). As i wrote in another thread ... blurring is bad enough but having an add runnning thru while i´m at it is too much !!
Good to know that this seems to be their standard. Previously i only have Bellas Perversion and after reading the posts here it seems it will stay that way ... sad as it is cause their stuff seems to be very good.
About the bat in ass topic ... i totally agree it´s redicilous that a bat would be no problem while a hand is.
About the topic of vids from other countries ... I´m not sure but someone once told me it depends whether the movie was filmed in or outside the us.
