davidizzawsome Deactivated User 58 Posts 10/18	Posted - Oct 12 2018 : 8:08PM Hi, About two weeks ago i decided to join GermanGooGirls for one month and immediately cancel the subscription (i wanted access to the phoenix madina scenes). I immediately check my bank account (like i always do) and realized i got charged twice. I then sent an email to the billing company Centrobill to ask for both a refund and to cancel my subscriptions. After i didn't get a response for two days i called up my bank to dispute the charge, It was during this day Centrobill got back to me saying my memberships were cancelled and that my card WILL NOT be charged again but they refused to give me a refund claiming i never uncheck a box to avoid the extra 39,95 charge for a site called myporndownload. There was no box when i went to sign up for the membership, and upon reading the terms and conditions there is nothing stated about me being charged for another membership. I didn't respond because i already brought the issue with my bank earlier and i decided to let my bank deal with them on my behalf. This morning i got two emails from them demanding more money. The first email said they saw on their file about my dispute and demanded that i call up my bank to reverse the chargeback because they claimed the extra 39.95 was authorized (it wasn't). They told me if i do not reverse the chargeback within 7 days that my case would be forwarded to their debt collectors and they would charge me an extra fee for their debt collectors time on top of the additional 39.95 i disputed. The second email was sent to my spam folder, it notified me that an automatic payment of 39.95 failed to go through (even though i got the confirmation that my account has been cancelled and that my card WOULD NOT BE CHARGED ANYMORE). This email also threatened that for THEIR inconvenience i wire 54.95 to another account or else i would be notified again in 5 business days with a higher bill. Automatically, i contacted my bank again and reported this company as fraud. The bank then closed my debit card and are issuing me a new one which i should receive in the mail in about 10 days. I am just wondering should i get any further emails from them would it be safe if i just ignore all of them, or do i need to be concern about their "debt collectors". I am assuming this is all a scare tactic and definitely not legit (there emails are all in broken english and don't look legit) but i am just wondering if anyone else went through a similar experience as i did. I know that they will have no way of charging my new card again but i want to know if they hold any legal power over me. Thanks. PS I'm sorry if this isn't the right forum. There's a thread on what people hate in porn and while I don't think I've ever posted in that thread I can say without reservation that I HATE THE FUCKING BASTARDS AT CENTROBILL! I've fallen victim to the same scam. Like you, I had to go so far as to cancel my credit card just to put an end to the fraudulent charges. I don't want to make this confusing, but the weird thing is that I've joined other sites using Centrobill where cancelling was easy and effective. "Bruce and Morgan" and "Jay's POV" are two examples. Because it was Centrobill I joined those using a prepaid card and was surprised that cancelling was easy and worked. And even more odd was that the cancellation page looked completely different from the cancellation page at GGG and the related site 666 Bukkake. Once I cancelled at Bruce and Morgan and Jay's POV there were no attempts to rebill my card. It's almost like there is an unholy alliance between Centrobill, GGG and 666. Adding to the confusion is that when I tried cancelling my GGG and 666 memberships I was getting emails from a different company called "Westbill." I have no idea what the relationship is between Centrobill and Westbill or if there is even one. I'll definitely rejoin the sites "Bruce and Morgan" and "Jay's POV" again but just because they bill through Centrobill I'll use a prepaid card just in case. Even though I had no problem cancelling those memberships the mere mention of Centrobill sets off alarm bells for me. But the fuckers did keep trying for a while - even after I contacted them many times telling them to cancel the membership. The really weird thing that I mentioned in my first reply is that this only seems to happen with GGG and 666. [Link]

V_RocKs New Member 4 Posts 10/18	Posted - Oct 14 2018 : 2:41PM Many card companies have web only numbers that you can use now. Citi and Barclays, and I think Discover, have this option. So they issue you a temp number you can use instead of your card and avoid having your card suspended and reissued. Sounds like you used a debit card though. I think BofA has this option. Of course you can always get a prepaid card and avoid a lot of this as well. As for what they are doing to you. Classic pump and dump mentality. Notice the names of the billers in this thread. Centrobill? Westbill? Crap billers! Some sites create payments gateways like these to focus on billing you for things you did not want or give consent to be billed. They hope that you will pay them as the debt collection model is way too expensive and rewards them with nothing. So, yes, it is a scare tactic and nothing more. Debt collectors rarely pay more than 20% on the collected debt, so it is only worth it on large debts. Stick to sites using CCBILL, Epoch, Vendo, Eurobill, Netbilling, etc. Billers who have been billing for decades and aren't doing shady stuff. [Link]

Click to expand That sounds great 'n all, once upon a time I tried it, but the problem is you find that not all sites (i.e. billing processors) will accept the prepaid card you have. I'm in the U.S. and I found that for billing processors based overseas, these prepaid cards may not be accepted. [Link]
