I don't follow performers on social media but based on a few tweets it would seem that Charlotte is at school and while that is amazing news. It probably means that she can't also be available to shoot porn and therefore her agency is basically out of a performer and if she decides to find the odd booking on the side from time to time to pay for school and what not then she shouldn't be surprised if her agency advices her that she is in breach of contract. Girls sign up and at first everything is hunky dory because there's always pretty strong demand for new girls, and so long as a girl is somewhat cute and has some level of appeal, directors will want to shoot her. But then demand dies off for many of them once they've shot a few scenes because there are always new girls coming up behind them. Now, some few like Marley Brinx or Megan Rain will transcend this drop-off because they're really great talents and they have some sort of appeal that is more enduring. And it's those girls that the LA Direct agents spend their time arranging bookings for. Girls that are more average-ish may get the occasional booking, but are largely left to their own devices. This is incredibly beneficial for LA Direct, because it allows them to maintain a large roster of talent from which directors can choose, while at the same time concentrating their outbound sales efforts on the girls that there is the most demand for. What I don't get is why she signed up with LA Direct in the first place. She started out with Hussie Models and it looks like they got her quite a lot of work for at least a year or two. So then she signs up with the one agency in the business that seems to have this terrible reputation. It's not like she was fresh off the bus when she made that decision. Girls talk to each other. She must have known the score. But, at least she only signed a two-year deal, so she'll be out of it soon enough. [Link] |

Another model managed to get out of her LA Direct contract recently by proving that Derek pretty much breaks the law by locking models into contract without getting them work so it's possible Charlotte did the same.
