Of course the 'object' of Chasing Stacy is to ultimately have sex with her, there is so much more along the way. It's difficult to provide a quick synopsis of the DVD because it's very different than anything else I have seen. I did spend some time checking out the Fanta Sex (virtual sex simulator) portion of the disc. The control menu is implemented very intelligently. I suggest checking out the 'help' screens because they provide details on ways to use your remote to control the action unlike any other virtual sex DVD. You can even select alternate sound tracks. I will try to find the time to write a full review of Chasing Stacy within the next few days. I've said many times in the ADT forum that I am not a fan of virtual sex titles. This title is the exception to that rule. It's much, much more than a virtual sex simulator. [Link] |

It seems like VCA disabled the fast forward and rewind options during the the "Chasing" part of the disk. I also noticed when in Fantasex mode the Menu button doesn't take you back to the menu as you would expect it to. Pressing Menu simply re-starts the segment currently playing. I had to press Title to get back to the menu. (It took me a while to figure that one out.) I'm not sure if a DVD ROM would have these same issues. [Link] |

We tried to cover these anomolies on the "About This DVD" section. For example. "About Fantasex" alerts you to use the TITLE button to exit "FantaSex." This was done to accomodate, "Advanced Play". Using the Menu button from most players removes the on-screen interface, so you can use the remote key-pad and have Stacy full-Screen, with nothing obscuring the action. The Fwd and skip functions were turned off to accomdate the game play, which as Drew noted changes, depending on your actions. Fwd and Skip would have disrupted the game sequencing.
