That's actually an interesting question... I've wondered about this for copyrighted images in general being tattooed on people's bodies, whether those people are in porn, music, whatever...
I mean, what could the owner of the image do? Insist that it be removed by laser? Insist that the image is never seen? (What if it's in a place that is always seen, like on the face?)

I know that CM Punk, from WWE, has the Pepsi logo and a logo from GI Joe(?) tattooed on his body. You always see them on tv as they're not edited/blurred out or anything, which would be a bitch to do. When they had his action figure made, they didn't put those tattoos on it. Just figured I'd throw that nugget 'o info out there.

^Ok yeah so for stuff like that, do you think Pepsi could actually have some kind of legal action that would either prevent him from having his arm showing, or make him pay them for every time his arm is shown on camera or something like that?
[edit: I just realized you didn't say it was on his arm. I don't know why I thought "arm". Just replace "arm" in the sentence above with whatever part of his body the Pepsi tattoo is actually on. Thx.]

as for what Pepsi could do, I'm not sure. the only law class I ever took was Business Law and I was intoxicated most of that semester and missed more classes than I attended...
and law stuff is very boring and ambiguous to me. Gimme some math or something. :)

Ah, so now I see she has Batman on the inside of her upper arm - well that really makes it interesting. You could probably argue that the scary, pale-faced, green-haired man was not The Joker but some random weird goth dude. However, there is no mistaking that the inside tattoo is the Dark Knight himself.
I'm afraid there is no other option - DC Comics will rightfully demand the amputation of that arm.
