I guess it depends on who you ask. The smoking fetishists would claim that everyone wants to see it, but in reality I don't think that their numbers are actually that large.
I would imagine though, that just as there are fewer smokers in NA than in the UK, there are probably fewer smoking fans in NA than in the UK.
