Personally, as a person with sleeves and a back piece and many, many friends that have them also, I find well done body artwork to be intriguing. My friend and business partner, also with a large amount of work, loves to quote - "the difference in people with tattoos and those with out is that those who have them do not judge those without"!! I do admit that there are some pieces that are just plain awful and make you want to ask - what were you thinking? But, there are also those peaces that are great and look good, at least to me. A belly ring is also one of the most sexy things a girl can do!! Any comments on adult film stars with tasteful body art? John [Link] |

Given our minimilist approach, a big back piece like that is going to be the stongest visual element in the scene. My feeling was that we should tackle it head on, both in spending some time hearing from both of them talking about what it means to them, but also showing Dax admiring and loving her tat. That helped incorporate the tat into the scene. Without spending some time on it, I think the audience would be thinking "What's up with the huge tattoo?" instead of being drawn into the action and chemistry. When I watch a porn movie I most want to see "the girl next door", a girl who looks cute, pretty and wholesome, but who then acts all dirty. But I'm afraid that tats just take all that away. Not only that, but tats take my attention away from everything else, especially the big ugly in your face tats. Tattoos on the guys on the other hand I absolutely detest.
