I mean, paying for a one year, two years, three years subscription for a site and with that having the possibility to choose the performers for a scene.
Let's say, you choose a two year subscription, and you can choose both man and woman. Choose a three year subscription, and you can even choose the performers for a threesome (I'm just saying, I'm not saying that necessarily be exactly like this). I'd certainly love to do that. Custom scenes are very expensive, but a site that in any case will sell scenes could have the possibility to sell those scenes to the audience having a lot of customers happy to spend more money than they would normally do to see their dream pairing realized. I suspect that especially for big enough sites something like that could bring a lot of new attention. Or is it too risky? What do you guys think about it?
In an ideal world, maybe but it's unlikely in the real world. I am content to cycle between 1, 3 and 6 month subscriptions.
I think careers and relationships in the industry are too volatile to tie myself to multi-year subscriptions. When Ryan Madison's alleged transgressions were made public, I would have been pretty aggrieved to be stuck in a longer subscription term than I was already in.
If you got to choose a performer for content on the hypothetical site but that performer retired or was unable to do the content and schedule a reshoot, what then?
I'd want to see a clause in a service level agreement that puts pressure on those running the hypothetical site to follow through with its list of performers you can select for a scene but what I'd imagine to be the practicality of enforcing that would put me off joining such a site for a long period of time.

Suppose you subscribe to the website for 2 or 3 years as the example you gave but the website goes bust long before 2 years have passed? Would you get a refund for what is presumably a large amount of money? I'm most sceptical of that as customers tend to be low down in the pecking order when it comes to an insolvent company being liquidated to pay back its creditors.

well, I can think of literally dozens (if not hundreds) of pairings that I'd like to see so that would not be a huge problem, at least personally, but maybe it's just me. This kind of site might work for you but I don't think it's for me, not without a compelling service level agreement. I'd likely main the current state of affairs where I buy off-the-shelf porn or pay for one-off custom videos.
Even if this fantasyland premise existed(it doesn't and never will). I can guarantee you that we would more than likely still be disappointed with our ideal pairing more often than not because it takes a lot more than getting our favorite performers in the same room to make a great porn scene. Now some enterprising individual could create a site that you join for free and inside you have a sort of menu system where you select from a list of active performers, sex acts, possible shooting locations and so on until you had a basic description of what your dream porn scene would be like. The site would post these selections and as people either choose your selection or create their own. The sites algorithm could tabulate the most popular options selected and advise the people who have at least 70% of their selections chosen by the most number of people to see if they are willing to compromise on some things to get as close to what they wanted. If you get enough people then you go into a credit system where you pay now but are guaranteed your money back if the scene doesn't get shot in the allotted time. A sort of crowdfunding porn scene but with a money back guarantee. Of course this is as much of a fantasy as the OP's idea because the cost and the money back guarantee almost make it impossible to make it happen.

I don't know how many would like to pay 300 as you're saying, but as I've said, the "3 years subscription" is just an example, it could even be a year subscription, or the equivalent cost. If you have both performers in Florida or in California (and a lot of performers are there) the scene could be realized in a matter of weeks or months. Obviously it depends on how much requests there are (hey, I'm just reasoning how it could work in real life), but with custom scenes there are usually people saying accurately if the scene is possible, when it will be made and stuff like that and then you decide if you want to proceed, so it could work in a similar way I think.what if you pay for a monthly subscription for Brazzers and after having paid you can't see what you've paid for? I don't know, but certainly people would immediately start to say that the site is a fraud and nobody would subscribe to them. That sounds like the ideal world scenario and as you said, the cost and financial risk of money back guarantees are why I think it would struggle to get off the ground. That being said, with OnlyFans doing quite well for itself despite its dubious business practices and poor transparency, stranger things have happened though OF's success had been boosted by current events.
